Oakburrow had always been alone, unsure of the world; he grew up cold and untrusting towards others. So, when he first saw a fox in action, he was amazed. They were like him, conniving and cunning, looking out for themselves and tricking people who were chasing them. He loved to watch them run away from predators, sending them off in the wrong directions. They reminded him of who he once was, as a loner who refused any company. He could relate to them in a way he couldn’t with anyone else, even someone from his own clan.

And yet, despite his old age and his stern demeanour, Grizzlestripe has always had a fascination with bears. He would pretend to be a bear as a kit, chasing his siblings around the nursery. When he was an apprentice, he would spook his friends by pretending he saw one. Now, as an elder, he can share his fantasy stories with the new generation of kits, letting his bear legacy live on.

He finds it fascinating that something so relatively small can be heard from such great distances. There's something powerful and awe inspiring about the owl.
It's plumage, spotted and fair- truly majestic, the royal of the night. It's gaze is of intense power, enough to strike fear into any who catch it's glance. There is also a shroud of mystery that falls across each of it's feathers, guiding its flight through the night sky as it stalks it's prey.
Perhaps Kestrel Flying sees himself in such a majestic creature, surely a cat with such an ego as he could only really admire a creature that rivals his excellence. [92/100]

Oaktangle's favourite forest animal in the whole world is the wild she-cat, so beautiful and elegant- but seriously his actual favourite animal is a butterfly, especially this one kind of butterfly, it's all white with spots, he calls it an eggshell butterfly because of the color of the wings. It's actually called a Rice Paper Butterfly and the reason he adores this little insect is for the same reason he's a flirt, he likes all things that are beautiful. Butterfly's are one of the most beautiful creatures in nature in his opinion. He is also fascinated that they can fly.

Acornburr is known for chasing squirrels and stealing their nuts even though they're useless for cats to eat--it's the thrill of the run and the angry chatter of the bushy-tailed vermin that brings him great amusement. They're his favorite animal thanks to the exhilaration they bring him, as well as the fact that he credits them with his climbing and jumping abilities. He watched squirrels as a kitten and figured, since he was such a small, light cat under all his fur, that he could be just like them. Thankfully, it worked out and he hasn't fallen from any trees!
