There is no way, whatsoever, Squirrelkit can fall asleep without humming and rocking herself back and forth. The tiny kit gently closes her eyes and she begins to hum, without even being able to control it. She hums the same melody every night she cuddles up to sleep. The same melody her birth mother would sing to the tiny creature.
Squirrelkit was, tragically, separated from her mother a few weeks after her birth. She loved her mother more than anything. Once she was gone, she found herself having terrible trouble getting herself to sleep. No matter what the queens did, they couldn't help. They tried and they tried, but nothing would work. One night, Squirrelkit began softly humming to herself, all while rocking slightly. Soon enough, this method sent her into a deep sleep. Every night since, the kit will sleepily sing, all while slowly dozing off. Her voice is soft, soothing, and beautiful. She wishes to see her birth mother once more to show her she can sing the same lullaby that put her to sleep as a newborn.

Prompt: Darling Fetchpaw is beloved by Meadowclan, but there is no question the kit is odd. Previously known as "Smallbark" by her pack family, she was raised by a twoleg's farm dog and her new litter of puppies. With no cats to learn from Fetchpaw adopted behaviors completely alien to the other cats in her clan. Why does her tail sway so wildly side to side when she's excited? Heronpaw complains of being kept up by Fetchpaw's need to circle her bed no less than ten times before she will lay down. Instead of hissing at a threat the young kit will pace back and forth making a short growl. Huh, that sounds almost like a bark! The most peculiar, and her namesake, is a game she shared with her clanmates: have a friend pick up a small twig between their teeth and then let fly! There is no greater fun than racing after the twig and bringing it back to your friend for another throw. Again and again. Fetch!

mousekit has always spoken in lies. whatever he says, means the opposite of the meaning. cats don't know how or why he picked up this quirk: but regardless, everybody still loves the little kitten.

mousekit has tried in the past to speak normally, but it always has ended in failure. he eventually cracks and it takes him a while to say stuff 'normally.' he can understand normal speech from cats, it's just he can't speak it and nobody knows why. even though he has a weird quirk, everybody still cares for him and considers him a clan mate.

Goosekit has an odd quirk- she struggles to maintain balance. To counteract this, she has other quirks. The solution is to sway her body and tail more as she walks. She tried to walk like a normal cat with less swaying of the body and tail, but it caused her to trip and nearly fall over just air or her own paws.Goosekit thinks it's better to walk as she does and look strange rather than trip over her paws and embarass herself every other day.

Graykit is considered weird due to his... unusual quirk. Graykit likes to faceplant on the ground. Everytime he runs around, he stops quickly and then falls over in such a way that he falls on his face. Everytime when questioned what is he doing, he'd just reply in a soft purr: "faceplanting". Even though he's considered a weirdo in his clan, he's Icestar's - the leader's favorite kit he always plays with when he's bored.

Prompt:

Every time that Kestrelpaw heads out onto the wood, he has to repeat his mantra “step on a stone, break a bone”, making sure to skip over any stones that are in his path. Due to it being a forest, it was very difficult for him to avoid stepping on stones. So, the first few times he was out of the camp, he was very anxious, nervous about stepping anywhere.

Then, once he stepped on a stone, he refused to leave his den for days, terrified that as soon as he leave, something back was going to happen to him. Despite Kestrelpaw’s belief, nothing bad did happen to him when he left the camp the next time.

Kestrelpaw still refuses to take chances, not wanting to hurt himself and wind up unable to continue his warrior apprenticeship since he loves going into the woods and training with his mentor.

Prompt: Drizzlepaw's quirk relates to rain. He was a particularly noisy newborn, constantly mewling whenever the slightest thing upset or disturbed him, but the sound of rain seemed to stop him in his tracks and soothe him - it is how he earned his name, Drizzlekit. As he grew, his adoration and near-fixation with rain also continued; he could be a bundle of energy, tearing through the camp after a mossball or fiercely play-fighting, but as soon as the downpour came over the camp, he would stop in his tracks and sit calmly down, staring up. It was questioned whether he was receiving some type of sign from the Ancestors, but when he was asked about his love for the rain, Drizzlekit would grin and say "I just like it a lot!"

It's weird, it's definitely a quirk, and might hint to her future rank, but Dovekit freezes every time she sees a butterfly. It's not conscious - she's trying to study it and thinks she padding after it - but when it finally disspears from sight she realizes that she is standing in the same place she had started in. She is trying to study the butterflies for signs that she is meant to live in GullClan.

Dovekit has tried to break this habit but it has never happened.
