Prompt:


Bluefur was larger than the average warrior with the build that makes her appear overpowering, as though she could take down a cat with a single swipe. However, she was not fast or fierce in reality, but instead she was slow and did not have much power in her body. This has led many of the members of the clan to look down on her, not believing that she had what it took to be a warrior.

For a while, Bluefur took what everyone said to heart, believing that she was not good enough to be a warrior. She begged her mentor for more training, and while he refused, Bluefur still snuck away from camp at night and trained in the clearing, working to find advantages to her fight.

Instead of trying to get stronger, she worked on becoming more agile and avoid attacking head-on, like she had originally been trained to do.

At the end of her apprenticeship, the hard work she put into being better paid off. She earned the title of warrior, getting what she deserved. Bluefur is proud of the work that she has put in, but she is still not happy with how she fights.

Kalin is ridiculously proud of her ability to identify plants! While she isn't into healing (she finds wounds to be quite gross), she prides herself on the fact that she can name every one of the more than two hundred fifty unique species of plants, including the aquatic ones, within her clan's territory.

Although she doesn't have any interest in becoming a medicine cat, she has absolutely no problems assisting one, and she is the cat of choice to run errands for ElmClan's medicine cat, who often utilizes her skills in order to stock up supplies in the necessary seasons. Additionally, Kalin's keen sense of smell enables her to find specific plants with ease, which means it takes her almost no time at all to find any plant that might be needed.

Kalin's interest in plants isn't limited to just the ones she can find in the wild; she's been caught twice raiding twolegplace in order to learn more about the unique plants often found in their yards, something that has almost led to her capture a number of times.

Hailsweep comes from a troubled background, having been born wild, taken by two-legs, and
then left on his own again. A few moons after escaping the two-legs, he stumbled upon
Wolfstar and another cat, looking to start their own clan. Curious about the idea of a group
of cats working together, he agreed to join them, and together they sought out a place to call
home. The three agreed to split ways for a few days, all searching for the ideal place to start
a clan. Hailsweep wandered, not quite knowing what clan life required of a place. On the final
day before he needed to head back, Hailsweep stumbled onto a luscious meadow. He could
just smell the herbs and bountiful prey; it had evidently been untouched by other cats. In an
adjacent forest was a small clearing, sheltered from the elements. As Hailsweep gazed at the
grove, he beamed inwardly. He, a rogue with no family of his own, had found a home for a clan
that would undoubtedly last for many generations to come.

Tidewatcher is proud of his heritage. His mother might be gone now, but she told him all about how his great, great, great - er, ancestor - travelled across the huge, cold province of Norda to settle in Valin, and how treacherous the journey was. She always told him, "Tidekit, you remember how Sidirmr scared off that pack of wolves without lifting a paw, don't you? He stared death and the face and lived to tell the tale - never forget that if you're strong like him, you'll have nothing to fear."

The other kits teased him, telling him they were just tales, but he believed her, and he still does. He aspires to be like his ancestors - strong, capable leaders, who helped create the Enclave as it used to be. Once he heard that Earthpad was trying to rebuild it, he leapt at the chance to help, feeling that his time to shine has finally come.

Prompt:

Mistwind is proud of her sister, Spirestar. She was born only
minutes after her, but never knew her sister until much later in life.

She was always a loner, having lost her sister when they were young and they
split up to find food, not able to find eachother no matter how hard they cried.
Eventually, Mistwind settled into her place, enjoying the feeling
of being a loner and not having to deal with following orders.

One day, while she was hunting for food near the base of a small hill, a cat jumped upon
her back, grabbing her as she yelped, fighting back as hard as she could, hissing.
After tossing and fighting, she finally got a good look at the cat, slowly relaxing
as she recognized her sister with her fiery coat and deep green eyes.

It didn't take long for her to join the clan, even if she did enjoy being a loner more.
Whenever she watches her sister lead so many lost souls, Mistwind
feels incredibly proud to be her sister, and to have her back.

Not that she'd tell her that, though.

It wasn’t often that there was crying out in the camp, the wail of a queen none the less was never a good sign. Frogpaw slipped out of the apprentice den just in time to see the clan gathered around the queen and Kestrelstar looking more worried as they spoke, the words to quiet for the apprentice to pick up on.

“Frogpaw! Willowleap with me!” Kestrelstar called out, leaving Frogpaw with nothing to do but race after her leader.

“One of the kits has gone missing, the trail ends up by the small caves in the ridge, you’ll have to go in and see if you can find them Frogpaw.”

Frogpaw only nodded as they ran, knowing the caves were no place for a kit and in the middle of leaf-bare none the less.

The group made it to the openings early quickly and true to Kestrelstar’s word the kits scent lead into the caves. It wasn’t even hard for Frogpaw to slip in after and locate the kit, a few feet inside and lead him out. But the look on the queen's face when the group came back with the kit was one Frogpaw would never forget.
