His limp, however, has allowed him to hop forward only a couple feet or so without making a sound, making him an adapt scout for the clan.

as for the 'berry' suffix she received, dovestar would say it was due to her personality. she's kind, sweet and subtle, much like many berries you can find in the forest. however, if you catch her on a bad day or at the wrong time, she can turn sickly and deadly. 'wasp' can also count here, as wasps are not something to be taken too lightly.

He was found by the clan within an area filled with mallow flowers. Not only that, but he requested it- supposedly some idea it sounded almost like 'mellow' which he felt he was in character, or, at least, hoped to be.

Storm:
In contrast to 'mellow', Mallow asked for this part to be added to his name after discovering his only so, Duckstorm, had 'storm' as his warrior name. He felt it cemented the 'kinship' they barely felt they had after being separated for moons.
