explanation; luna grew up in a moor with her only family member; her older brother jade. jade wouldnt tell her how thier parents died, but when luna turned 3, jade gave her a soft, flower patterned bandana. jade had said that this was what thier parents had left her behind. every day since then, jade and luna went out to pick blue and orange wildflowers, to go put by thier mother and fathers' grave. 3 months after they started doing this, birds started appearing at the grave, and they stayed there. luna became good friends with the birds, hence her relationship with them now.
