She walked through the field with a veil on, dripping over her slow-moving body. Her hum was soft, barely hearable. The meeting would commence soon, something that she didn't want to be a part of, but it must be done. The silver moonlight bounced off of the crystal that hung around her neck.
There she stood in the middle of the field, waiting for the other to gather. She dreaded this part of life. Her humming ceased as she inhaled one last time before the wing stopped. Everything around her stopped moving. A small, weak voice protruded the silence of the air,
"Welcome sister."
She nodded. "I'm here brothers." As the last word slipped away from her mouth, 6 shadows appeared. One of a snake, one of a rabbit, one of a falcon, one of a deer, on of a bull, and one of a cat. They were pitch black besides piercing white eyes with no definition, just a white void.
"You called me here, so here I am," Rivi spoke to the shadows that surrounded her.
"You have done a sin against us sister," the shows spoke in unison. To the normal eye, these shadows would scare and terrorize a soul, but to Rivi, these were the demons that she was to bear.
"I committed no sin, I only fixed a wrong," Rivi spoke with a hint of anger in her tone.
"Do not be angry with us sister, for you are speaking to your family." The shows started to fuzz at the edges. "Sister, repent to us and your trespasses will be forgiven and you may continue."
Rivi stood there., closed her eyes and let her anger build and fester inside her. She was not about to go back to the life she was forced to live. "No brothers, I owe you nothing."
"You sister, have made a grave mistake."
"No, you have." Rivi raised her veil, ripped the stone from her neck, and let out a blood curtailing shreak. Her life source was ripped off. The shadows disappeared into the night. She fell to her knees.
