some ideas for story n stuff

In the living world
- Sophie is sent to Purgatory after her death
- Daughter Adelaide born premature and lives, stays with Father Paris (basically 10 years after incident)
- Paris always grieving the loss of his partner, never to be happy again
- Adelaide doesn’t know much about her mother, but from what Paris had told her she wants to be exactly like Sophie
- France shifts down after Sophie’s death and because of Paris’ ruling (he really doesn’t do much)

In the afterlife
- Upon arrival, Sophie is lost and afraid, but mainly filled with anger
- Meets Akuji (basically the god of afterlife), who welcomes her to the afterlife
- Tells her there’s no way of leaving or having any contact with your family in the living world
- Sophie fills with rage and tries to escape to living world
- attempts don’t work, and she’s eventually caught by Akuji who imprisons her
