What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

A little Barn Swallow!
story:
One morning, Soul awoke to birds flying into the barn, with items in their beaks. It looked like... mud? Why? How confusing! Soul watched as they kept stacking piece after piece, seeming to be making walls of mud. It finally clicked with Soul, and realized they would be parents, and were building a nest above his stall.
The next day, the nest was complete from the soon-to-be parents working day and night. The mother hopped down to Soul's stall one afternoon, collecting bits of his mane that he had itched out between the wood slats. He watched, amused, as the mother carried a ball of his hair back to her nest. Soul was just as excited as the parents for the new babies.
After days of the mother sitting on her nest, Soul's ears pricked at a teeny sound. The babies had arrived! He really wanted to see them, waiting patiently for them to grow.
One day, Soul felt something hit him. He looked down in horror to see one of the babies sprawled on his shavings. It must have fallen. Soul gently lied down beside her, and scooted her close to him with his tail. The poor little thing only had a couple of wing feathers, and looked young. Her little eyes closed and fell asleep in a nest of horse tail.
As the chick got stronger, she ate the gnats and other bugs that found themselves on Soul. The little bird grew faster and bigger each day, until she had fully stopped growing. That day, Soul taught the Barn Swallow how to fly by letting the bird flutter off his nose. In the end, the little birdy hung out with his true family more, but always kept Soul company, and the bugs away.
