From the moment Xenia had seen the for sale sign, to when he’d first opened its doors, the diner had been his everything.

Impatiently did Xenias paw drum besides the vintage grandfather clock situated besides the slding doors, one he’d gotten in the antique store conveniently located across the street for only 25 dollars. Ever so often did his eyes flicker from the sign explicitly stating ‘closed’ (though that would soon be changed), to the keyhole in the doors center where his other paw hovered readily. And just as the clock chimed 8, he inserted the key, and flipped the sign around.

The once steady stream of kalons floating in to the diner had been barely anything compared to the flood that came around the ‘Prime Time’, as Xenia liked to refer to the busiest time in the building. Booths full to the brim, frenzied waiters and waitresses multitasking between taking in new orders and presenting old costumers with steaming plates, and almost as important as all, Gladys. By her lonesome, the elderly kalon sat at an otherwise vacant booth, and waited patiently for Xenia to come around. “Hiya, Gladys!” Xenia greeted the other as he poured simmering coffee into her empty cup. “Bacon, eggs, and a little maple syrup to top it off, I’m assuming?” “You know me better than I do,” the other kalon chuckled as she took a long sip of her coffee. Xenia didn’t need notes to remind him of her weekly orders, it was as though it had become branded into his routine.

prompt; Jakion doesnt really do much, like blue, he has to be reminded by raven to do stuff... even if Blue/Jill is a neko and Jakion is a kalon, he secretly likes them, but the species difference is confusing.

Though they usually have to check trees for blossom (yes, that happens often!)
Read a few books with Nova so they don't get angry (nobody likes it when nova the dargon gets mad XD)
and a few other things around the place..

Though, their story took a bad turn long ago, but.. everyone's story has their own readable path.. huh?
