[1] it was difficult, being alone. scary, nerve-wracking, sad, even. waiting for a family who were never returning. clinging to that hope that maybe, just maybe they were just late. a few years late, that is. for aster, it all became to much. that hope slipped from his paws like sand, trickling between the cracks. so he left. he went on a journey, travelling miles and miles from his mountain home. abandoning everything he knew. because of hope. he explored, learning new things, seeing new sights. but he was alone.

and then he wasn't. a spark of feeling, blooming in his chest, spreading through his thick fur, and balancing upon their edges. it was a tree, collapsing to the forest floor, a rush of adrenaline. it was a burst of sudden colour, destroying the memories of a time without. it was a risk, a in the heat of the moment decision. it was fate. destiny, if you will.

it was difficult, spending so much time alone. protecting a home that was lost long ago. clinging to the hope that maybe, just maybe, it would return to its former glory. for maui, it left him to his own mind, trapped in a desolate, anger-filled hole. trapped in a broken forest, with no one but himself. but he held on. he stayed put. tending to what was left of his forest, guarding those small creatures that remained. he became a god-like creature. a protector, of sorts. but he was alone.

and then he wasn't. there was a hint of emotion, rising from the pit of his stomach. it swarmed his brain, worming its way through the base of his skull, the base of his antlers, until it stood perched upon their tips. it was a wave, crashing down against the sand, a burst of adrenaline. it was a burst of light, drowning those times without. it was a risk, but it was worth it. so, so worth it.

months passed. like the rain, like the sun. it was a definite. roots became a new home, of sorts. a safe place. to go home to when it became cold, when it became dark. when it became dangerous. a single sprout, doubling, tripling. green. it started small. a single flower. and then it bloomed, bringing with it a new plethora of bushes, flowers, trees. seeds became shoots, shoots became plants. sun, rain, seed. sun, rain, green. sun, rain, shrubs. humans were a thing of the past, there metal contraptions abandoned. the once bright paint had rusted, and leaves crawled through broken windows. the forest was reclaiming its home, nature re-claiming its stolen life. creatures began to return, slowly. each greeted the viscets with a bow. they were rulers. they were guardians. they were not alone. not anymore.

[2] It was a usual occurrence to see Aidan, rushing down the street, bag slung over one shoulder. His ear-buds hung loosely from his ears, balancing upon their edges. It was a surprise that they had not yet fallen out, due to the pace he had set, and the uneven terrain of the damaged streets he ran. His tie was flying over his shoulder, only kept from flying away by the small knot that anchored it to his neck. He was late. Again. It had been months since his last job interview, and as the summer was starting, he knew that he needed to get his head in the game. If he wanted to go on the trip to Ireland with his friends, then he needed money, and if he needed money, he needed a job. Only, he didn't just couldn't land one. Sighing, he skidded to a stop at the traffic lights, pressing the button to cross over and over again. As he waited, he took a second to listen to the songs playing through his earphones. It was the radio station. It'd never seemed appealing to have one playlist to listen to, so instead, he had tuned his phone into the local radio station, and whatever they were playing, he'd listen to. For the most part, he only ever heard bits and pieces, little snippets here and there. But today, today he was listening properly. the lyrics were odd, though a tad inspiring. he was thankful, however, when it ended. it wasn't the greatest. looking up from his paws, he noticed the green viscet turning red again, and he sighed in annoyance. he was going to miss it. again.

the next day went much the same. rushing, running, late. the same song played again too. it was almost taunting him. whispering and sneering at him. this carried on for the next two weeks. it didn't take him too long to warm up to the song, and it seemed to be becoming more of a lucky charm than a rush of bad luck. it was day 16 that he finally made it on time to a job interview. the song was beating loudly in his ears, and there was a triumphant grin on his expression. he may not have gotten the job, but the song stuck with him for the next one. The viscet laughed, her feet kicking up in the air as she pranced around the room. She mimed playing the piano with her hands, her tongue sticking out in mock concentration. Suddenly, someone walked into the room. Their face was dark and in shadows, but they seemed to have the same bubbling energy that the female had. They punched the air in time to the song, and shimmied their hips. The hazy figure reached out an arm, then spun the girl around and caught her in a dip. She giggled, staring up into their eyes. Jumping back up, she sang along to the song with bright enthusiasm.
"...Take on me! Taaaaaake meeeee on! Take on me!" She pretended to sing into a microphone, her eyes closing as she sank back onto her heels for the high note. "I'll be GOOOOONE..."
The hazy figure joined in. "In a day or.."
"TWOOOOOOOOOOO!" They sang together, staring deep into each other's eyes. The song came to a close as the final piano chords chimed, and both viscets, clear and hazy, sank to the floor, laughing.
"I love you." Whispered the female after the song had ended.
"I love you to." Said the other viscet.

Zombie shot up from his bed, the sheets soaked through with sweat. He looked down at his foot, which was twitching and shaking like crazy. His eyes were wide and his breathing was fast as he stared out into the darkness of his room. Taking a deep breath, the stitched viscet lied back down onto his bed, pulling the covers up tight. Shutting his eyes, he finally drifted back into a dreamless slumber.
Ever since Zombie had escaped from the laboratory where he was assembled, his dreams had gotten worse. Usually they were just flashes of faces from his limb's original owners's pasts, but whole scenes? They were definitely getting more detailed, and Zombie was starting to make connections in his brain between the viscets he could see and the limbs attached to his torso.
When he finally woke up, a song was playing in his head.
"Talking away, I don't know what you have to say.."
He recognized the catchy tune from his dream and began to hum along. As he walked out of his room, Lukas, the kid that he had "adopted" from the streets, looked surprised. She was sitting at the breakfast table, munching on Cheerios, when he walked in.
"Z, how do you know that song?" She asked him, her mouth full of cereal.
Zombie frowned, reprimanding her. "Don't talk with your mouth full. And, I don't know. It was probably just playing on the radio or something."
The black and white viscet looked skeptical, but she soon forgot it. However, Zombie didn't. Not one bit. The song was in his head the entire summer. And now, he was starting to get even more intricate dreams, sometimes even hearing names or seeing detailed faces. Zombie was starting to remember things about his old life, and he wanted to know more. Way more.

Rivin - A Sky Full Of Stars - Coldplay

Rivin woke with a start. His alarm had just plunged him out of the best dream- him and Quinn, singing together onstage. But it wouldn't be a dream for much longer. Soon- today, to be exact -he'd be up their, singing with his love.
Speaking of his love, Quinn stirred beside him. That viscet could sleep through any noise, but he always woke at the slightest movement. "Morning Riv." He mumbled, rolling over and wrapping his arms around Rivin's waist, head resting on his shoulder. "Time to get up already?" Rivin chuckled and wove himself out of Quinn's arms, rising out of their bed. "Sadly yes." He was greeted with a groan. "Oh, you'll be fine. Come on, up you get." Without waiting for a response, Rivin exited their small bedroom that they shared in their trailer. While the rest of their crew shared a giant trailer, they got one for themselves. Just the way they both liked it. Flicking on the lights and tearing open the curtains, he blinked at the sunlight streaming in. The time difference was messing with him. But that was the show biz, constantly traveling.
Before Rivin met Quinn, he was a solo act. He produced three albums but his popularity kept him afloat. He'd just released his forth, with his hit song featuring Quinn. Quinn was also a singer on the rise, and they were competition, till they met face-to-face. They instantly hit it off and started dating shortly after. The power couple managed to keep it a secret for three months before the press sniffed it out. Now they were all over the internet, but they didn't care. They'd now been dating for a year and a half.
Checking his watch- leather band and silver face -he jumped. They were running late. Both Rivin and Quinn were supposed to be at the stadium by 12:00 for preparations. But with traffic and the need for food, they had to leave much earlier. "Quinn! We gotta go!" He called, fumbling around for his phone. "Coming!" Quinn came hurtling out of the bedroom, grabbing for the door. His fur was disheveled and Rivin assumed he didn't look much better. That's what stylists and makeup artists were for though.
Him and his boyfriend toppled down the trailer steps and jumped into the waiting car. Their driver didn't say anything, just raised an eyebrow and pulled swiftly out of the parking lot. A team of cars followed in suit. "Here we go." Rivin said, laughing. Quinn joined in, grinning while looking still looking slightly shocked. Rivin started humming. "This was the song we danced to first." Quinn said, recognizing the tune. "'Cause your a sky, your a sky full of stars..." Rivin joined in and together they sang on their way to the stadium.

Quinn - Can't Help Falling in Love - Pentatonix

Quinn sat in a stylist's chair, shoving a fast food hamburger into his mouth as viscets scrambled around him. They had made it to the stadium in time, but the speed they went to get there was surely over the limit. As soon as they stepped out of the car, both Rivin and Quinn were rushed in different directions. Tired and cranky, Quinn wasn't very happy to be separated from his boyfriend. But he kept his mouth clamped shut, knowing the viscets were only doing their job.
Shaking himself out of his thoughts, he swallowed the last bite of his brunch and tossed the wrapper into a nearby trashcan. Stylists fussed with his fur, using gel and hairspray to keep it in place. They gave him a wild look, with dark shadows under his eyes and eyeliner on his eyelids. His manager hovered nearby, barking orders at a poor young viscet that spilled broke a overhead light. It was chaos, and he barely had time to get a drink of water before he was forced into a leather jacket and a spiked collar was tightened around his neck. He had a matching bracelet.
This was his look, the style he always wore to performances or when he wanted to make a show for the press. His songs practically screamed bad-boy, with most of his songs being hardcore rants or soft depressed songs about the world and life. He rarely had an in-between, unless he was doing a duet with another artist.
Funny how he ended up falling in love with Rivin, whose image was a typical boy-next-door type. His songs were more pop related, while Quinn's ranged more towards rock and rap. But they both sang about real life. Problems, struggles, love. Expect Rivin's tended to be more happy. Not that Quinn was complaining. He loved that boy, mushy songs and all.
Funny how time flew. By the time he was ready and the stadium was filled, it was show time. Their opening act was closing up when Quinn finally got to see Rivin.
Rivin had his fur combed and smooth, his bright eyes outlined in black. He was dressed in a jean jacket and he wore a gold chain around his neck and a bracelet to match around his wrist. They were matching, he realized. The crew managed to keep their individual styles and yet made them match. That was talent.
"Babe?" Rivin snapped him out of his thoughts, humour in his voice. Quinn blushed a deep crimson, being caught in the act of staring. Rivin laughed. "You ready to do this?" Quinn nodded, grinning. "Ready when you are."
With the crowd chanting their name, they ran out onto the stand, hand in hand.
Quinn could never have asked for a better night, a better crowd. "Cause I-" "Can't-" "Help-" "Falling in-" "Love-" "With-" "You." They sang. And under the summer stars, Quinn completely fell for Rivin. There was no going back now. He was gone for anyone except for Rivin.

Caspian - Fix You - Coldplay

King- no, Prince -Caspian sulked in a corner. His mind was clogged with thoughts, all to jumbled to sort through. The music that echoed through the vast room gave Caspian nothing but a headache. A party was being held in the castle, a celebration of the commencement of summer. His brother, the king, sat upon his throne, chatting with one of his generals, drinking from a silver goblet. The sight angered Caspian.
Just months before, his brother and his rebel forces attacked his kingdom. Caspian was challenged to a fight for the throne, and lost. He later found out it was his brother. The brother who abandoned him in the forest. Who killed their mother and father. Who swayed Caspian's entire kingdom against him even after killing thousands. Who only kept Caspian around for the power and image.
Back then Caspian didn't know why. He did now. His brother threatened the kingdom on half and used his charm on the rest. Now they all lived in 'harmony'.
The thought sickened the prince. As he watched the viscets twirl around, laughing and dancing, he felt empty. After his parents died, the only thing that held him together was the need for him to jump in and take care of the kingdom. Now, with a brother who didn't care taking care of Verity, he felt missing. Like he was a ghost, floating through the hours. He lived an hour at a time, praying for the day he could get out, feel something.
Sighing, he leaned back in his chair, fiddling with the leather band on his wrist. It was the only thing he wore, other than the silver crown on his head. His brother wore his old cloak and crown now.
A familiar mournful tune came on, starting the slow dance. Caspian wasn't much of a singer, but the song spoke to him so much that he had to quietly sing along. "When you try your best but you don't succeed..."
Movement caught his eye and Caspian stopped singing. His brother tilted his head, a gesture for him to come. Sighing, he stood up and made his way over to the king, wincing as pain shot up his leg. A result of him and his brother's battle. A now permanent limp that ached at times.
"Yes, your highness?" He asked, fighting to keep the sarcasm out of his tone. The king's eyes flared, a warning to behave. "Caspian, I'd like you to meet one of my generals daughter." A viscet stepped into his view, a rose tucked behind her ear. This drew a sigh from the prince. His brother had been trying to get him to marry by throwing girls at him. "Nice to meet you." He ignored her outstretched paw and instead turned to his brother. "Well, look at the time. I must be turning into my chambers." Turning away, he left the room with his highnesses eyes burning a hole into the back of his head. He'd pay for his attitude later. But its not like he cared.
Caspian was avoid of feelings other than anger. The punishments he received just added to the grid of scars he had. If anything it gave him all the more reason to shut the world out. It seemed people wanted to fix him. A toy that was broken and needed to be rebuilt, but with an all new design. He didn't want to be fixed. He wanted to be free.
With the beat of the music matching the pounding haze in his head, Caspian knew that this summer would be the time to act. Before it was far to late. He didn't need to be fixed. He could fix himself, if he really wanted to. But no. His dullness made him stronger. The prince would rise again, more fierce than last time. Maybe this summer could pay off, after all.

Theo--Royalty
The young viscet has made it his only purpose in life to ruin Valentine’s, the king. He was always coming up with plans to himself to overthrow the king and one day he had finally gone with along with one of them. Sadly for him In the end, it failed and he was tossed out of the kingdom (literally) and was presumed dead because of the fall he had taken.
Now that he has healed he now uses that as an advantage in taking over the kingdom once again. He one day runs into the king’s daughter. Her father doesn't believe that she is qualified enough to be a queen one day and had chosen her brother to rule instead even though she is the eldest. he takes advantage of this to help him promising her a good life and riches beyond her wildest dreams. This song reminds him of the things he is doing.

Anarchy--Set me on fire
She is always on the lookout for a viscet she has fallen for no matter how much she tells herself that her home in the sky is much more important then for the mortal below. She creates dreams for him, happy ones and has only talked to him through those. she can’t help but think of him. It drives her so crazy that one day she leaves her home in the sky for the first time to meet this viscet. She has never flown so far in her life that she crash lands and hurts her wings beyond repair. The king, Elliot as he was walking through his garden comes upon her and quickly brings her inside to his castle and when she wakes up they finally get to talk in person. This song makes her super happy and she listens to it a lot over the summer throughout the castle.

Jett--Parrot
Jett is a very talkative viscet who likes to talk about everything and to everyone, even when they don’t want to hear what he has to say or if they find him annoying. He always very hyperactive and knows when he is being too pushy but can't help but to do it anyways. He enjoys listening to this song because it reminds him a lot of himself and even though in a way it makes him kinda sad it also makes him happy at the same time to know that there are other people out there that are just like him in this way.

London--Five bells
London, a viscet that loves the outdoors and doing things such as exploring, hiking, rock climbing and flying plans on going on many adventures, exploring all sorts of places during the summer. He always loves to pop this song on in his car or when he is traveling by plane to remind him of all the places he has been to, the people and viscets he has met so far on his journey around the world. The biggest hope in his life is to be able to explore all of the earth and what it has to offer him.

King--Hey Look Ma, I Made It
[iBeing adopted he didn’t have the best of starts as an egg. When he was born his mother had fled the kingdom for reasons that are unknown to anyone. His egg was later found by a viscet with the name of Theo who made sure to keep the egg alive. The egg soon hatched just a little after summer began, despite his creepy appearance and menacing look the viscling had growing up he was so happy to be alive and he loves to think about what his mother was like and what she would think of him now if she saw him and how far he was coming along. He hopes that if he was to ever meet her that she would be proud of him.[/i]

Napoleon--Little fang
A song that Napoleon has been enjoying over the summer is the song of little fang. It’s goofy nature always puts a smile on his face. He always enjoys dancing through his workshop as he listens to it as well as singing no matter how off-key he gets his customers always enjoy his attitude when he's hopping around his shop. The song reminds him of his own fears and how he feels but it puts all the lyrics out as happy and it makes him feel a whole lot better and reminds him that no matter what he is going through that he is his own person and has his own traits that are good for him and that he doesn't need someone else's talents or strengths cause he has his very own that he can be proud of.

Lucifer--Meet me in the woods
Lucifer, a viscet who had been through war and many natural disasters (he went to areas like that to help viscets and people) and terrible circumstances have been through a lot in his life. This song reminds him of all the risks he has taken in his life to prove to others that his name and past isn’t who he is now. During the summer he likes to take a refreshing break to clear his mind and to do the things he enjoys such as hiking and simple things like reading a good book by the fire while having the smallest reminder (this song) playing in the background.

October--I'll be good
Due to the influence, his father Valentine had on him as he was growing up he had been very mean to others. He hurt their feelings as well as lost everyone's trust due to the things he had done. He realizes this now that he's all grown up and wants to take it all back. He knows what he had done was wrong and hopes that he can be forgiven and over the summer plans on doing things to give back to the community who no longer trust him. This song gives him that hope and that reminder to say on track and be the good viscet he wants to be and not go back to being who he was before.

Anonymous--I found
He is always on his computer always looking for an escape away from reality. What he didn’t realize was that he had friends that were away from the computer ones that cared about him and wanted to hang out with him. Anon doesn't trust people easily let alone at all. He realizes that his computer can’t make up for what he already has in his life and those who need and wish to spend their time with him. He listens to this song to remind him that he is loved and that he should know whats in front of him.

Wendell--Believer
When he was young he was told by other visclings and adults alike that he could never reach the dreams that he had made for himself. It was hard being that age and being told that no one believed in what you had to offer. Over the years he has proved himself time after time that he can do whatever he puts his mind out to do and that all he needs to do is believe in himself and see to things to the end. This is his summer jam because he is currently working out his singing and songwriting career over the summer and this song really has helped inspire him to do more with his life.

Key--This is home
Key loves aesthetics. He finds them very nice to look at an enjoys all the colors and time people can put into some of them. They are all very pleasing to the eye and this song just like how aesthetics are pleasing to the eyes this songs sot melody is pleasing for his ears. He likes to listening to songs such as these cause of there many meanings that they could possibly have and how calm they make him feel.It just makes him very relaxed and happy to do his art when he listens to this song.

Dog/Meat--Pork soda
If you asked this dog and his tail meat why they like this song so much they would shrug.He has no clue why he likes this song. He thinks it's maybe because it reminds him of himself? I would say that as well as its beat his tail can’t speak but will start dancing on its own at the beat of this wonderful song. They both have no clue to the meaning of the song but as long as they like it no one should see why not.

Jack Rebel--Feel it still
This song is one of his favorite songs to dance and sing to in front of a crowd of his friends or strangers he really doesn't care to be honest if this song randomly came on in a busy crowded area he would just break out in dance and song.The song reminds him so much of himself and just his very nature. He as all of his friend know him as the “party animal” he loves all sorts of party songs and this is one of his top favorites because he made rebel is his legal last name.He really enjoys listening to this song over the summer most of his friends by now are very annoyed with him putting it on everytime he ever he can get his paws on the radio or on a stereo, Its just a song he can’t get sick of.

Valentine--Smells like teen spirit
Valentines taste of music is always….a little dark. Valentine loves this song cause it reminds him of all his summer plans such as terrorizing people and taking over other kingdoms one at a time,pretty much his all year around plans. After Theo’s attempt to take over his kingdom he was able to reunite with the new viscets he was able to bring into the kingdom when he had overthrown his former servant. The song reminds him of how his new people,the viscets have much more respect for him hen any human ever had. Every once in awhile you can find him popping this song on and singing to himself,something that many so many wouldn’t even know that he does let alone will never hear him.

Lachlan--Run boy run
If Lachlan had to pick any song for his summer it would be “Run Boy Run.” Even though he can listen to any song in the entire world,from the past to far in the future. He enjoys listening to this one because it encourages him to keep doing what he does best,causing trouble throughout the timeline.
He is on the run from another viscet by the name of Host who has gotten close to him quit a few times but never has exceeded, this song is apart of that due to him putting it on when he is being chased it gives him that spark of energy to keep going.

Elliot--Everybody Loves Me
Elliot thinks he can get anyone to fall in love with him weather it be romantically or in a way that people and viscets alike just admire him and want to be just like him.The problem is that it's true and that just adds on to his growing ego. He loves this song because it is the definition of himself and everything that he is. Even a angelic like viscet by the name of Anarchy has fallen for his charms and they had only talked through dreams. The song also has a very layback party beat to it which is his personality, he is indeed a very laid back king even though sometimes he can do some very questionable things and make some very bad decisions.

Seymour--Devil's Train
Seymour loves himself a good folk song, A song with a story to it Which is why he likes these kinds of songs so much, this one in particular reminds him a lot of himself due to a character that appears later in the song who asked to walk with the man. He was a monster-like viscet after all and of course during his time by the hunted train tracks he has scared many viscets away most of the time it was by accident but after awhile he started to do it on purpose and those who were brave enough to stay and talk to me would be offered a ride anywhere the could possibly imagine of on his ghost train.

Sullivan--Wires
Sullivan has no memories of his former life after the explosion accident. He is a cruel viscet that wants nothing to do with normal society he enjoys being alone and keeping everything to himself even to separating himself from his mate cupid, who is the closest thing to whatever he is for days at a time. Sullivan started to listen to music in his shop to keep himself concentrated on what he is working on and every once in awhile it brings back a few of his old memories. And though he tries so hard not to care about it he can’t help but be curious so he has been listening to this song the most (over the summer) cause it has been having the most memories show up with it.

Illusion--The Wolf
This viscet is a world famous stunt devil. When he listens to this song it reminds him so much of the stunts he does and the ones that he is working on. It just gives him this exciting feeling in his gut to keep pushing himself further and further the song talking about making someone theirs he thinks of that as himself conquering his fears. And the song also states “I’m out of my mind.” which is something that has come from so many other viscet’s mouths telling him he should do something more safer and that is not going to get him killed but he does not care and keeping on going and doing what he enjoys.

1: Drax, Three Days Grace - The Mountain
The Mountain is Drax's summer because, no matter how many set backs this guy faces. He will continue to climb the mountain. Now sure, theres been times when he's been completely defeated, knocked far off course, but those times never stopped him. They'd just push him to become even stronger. With all the enemies Drax has, he has no other option but to become stronger to protect not only him self, but his friends and loved ones. You wont ever see him back down from a challenge. Even if it appears he's backing out of a fight, he truly isn't. He's just wanting
to examine his opponents fighting style, before their actual fight. Even if that means he has to examine during their fight. Even when on the brink of death, Drax continues to climb The Mountain. For he is leader of Legion.

2: Raika, Bad Wolves - Hear Me Now feat. DIAMANTE
After Drax took Raika to see his mates pack, he stumbled across someone, who would soon become his mate. Now she never thought they'd be more than friends. But as time went on, Raika started to unravel his feeling for her and she did the same. Raika never expected to find his mate in the same pack as Drax's mate. The day after Raika met her, he turned on his sterio to hear this song come on. As the song continued to play Raika started to sing it, soon after she joined in, as they began to sing together. They fell in love with each other even more. They've played many games with their friends like spin the bottle, but everytime it was their turn, it landed on the other. Who would've known that their mates would live in the same pack.

Raikon has received many scars over his lifetime, but his most shameful scar is creating Draxis. A being hell bent on destroying absolutely everything and anything that dares cross his path, killing anyone, and everyone along the way of his evil quest for total annihilation. Raikon was even severly beaten, left for dead by his own creation. No one would ever listen to him for creating that monster. They'd just beat him down for creating him. Raikon knows he has to live with the with the fact, that he created the devil Draxis. And the fact that he would be responsible for the multi verses end if Drax can not stop Draxis.

Ever since Cortana was born she's been on her own, fight a monster within herself. She's always been in a never ending war against her own power. Her power was so out of control that her own parents and tribe banished her from ever returning.

As the days came and gone her control began to fade away. But eventually Drax came into her life, helped her contain a power she's spent her entire life trying to control. Now sure it was no easy task. But he never have up on her. He became her best friend, her life saver. Raika was also their to help her. Which showed her, that she isn't alone. That there are others like her in the world. Others that can and will help her, even if they've never met, nor know nothing about her life. Eventually she became loved by all, even by those who banished her when she was only a viscling.

5: Raven, Apocalyptica - Not Strong Enough
Raven knows she isn't strong enough to stay away from Draxis, that she can't stay away from him. Because she knows she'd just run back to him, that she is drawn to him like a moth to a flame. She's tried once, but it didn't even last a minute until she went chasing after Draxis. To Raven, Draxis is her devil, and she is his deviliss. She's tried so long to get all of his attention, that it pains her to know he doesn't seem to care. She knows he will destroy all who get in his way. After all he did crush Victor, and his loyalists. Stopped them from seizing command all on his own. Even with all of her knowledge of magic, she simply just can't find the strength to use magic to stay away from Draxis.

6. Atriox, Michael Jackson - Beat It
Atriox loves all the old songs like Beat It. Out of everyone in Legion, he's the classical guy. You know its gonna be a good time when ya see Atriox play one of Michal Jackson, or Bon Jovi, Aero Smith, or Guns N' Roses songs. He'll bring out his guitar before he plays the song, since he knows all the songs by heart. He purposefully edited out the guitar so he can rev it up himself. Do all kinds of tricks while playing the song on his guitar. Giving the biggest, best MJ impersonations anyone's ever seen. Sometimes some viscets actualy believed that he was actually Jackson, mad them freak out when he started talking n acting exactly like him.

7. Apothas, Nickelback - If Today Was Your Last Day
In an alternate dimension, Apothas's father was killed before his very eyes, along with everyone else he's ever known and loved. The culprit was none other than Tronis himself. He knew that he didn't have much time to live for he was critically wounded, in no condition to move at all. His bones were all completely broken, he was bleeding out at an accelerated rate, as tears started to pour out of his eyes, with no sounds behind them. The only person that remained alive that he knew was Dread, But the Dread in that dimension had power he could use to heal nor revive anyone.

For without Skye, he never acquired those powers. She taught him how to heal, and revive the dead. But anyway, his dying was for Dread to give everything he has to those who need it most, to spread all of his money out throughout every charity to help everyone in need. Apothas even forgave Draxis for trying to kill them his entire life. Upon Apothas's death, all that remained of Legion... Was Dread...

8. Erza, Three Days Grace - Fallen Angel
Some nights Erza can hear her adopted mother cry about Centurion. She lost him, when he told her to take their people and run far away while he kept Tronis focused on him. She knew Centurions every motive, he wanted Centuria to live. The only way he knew how was to keep Tronis distracted long enough to give her plenty of time to escape. Erza would always comfort her, helping her constantly. Centuria would do everything she could do to protect Erza. For Erza reminds herself of when she was young. Back when she had Centurion in her life every second of every day. Erza found out the truth to her sadness, when she found a trinket with their picture on it on one side, and the other was a picture of Erza as a viscling.

9. Centuria, 3 Doors Down - Here Without You
Centuria loves to listen to this song during the summer because summer was the last time she seen her husband Centurion. She never once took off the ring he gave her, would never let anyone touch the stuffed viscet she made. That looked exactly like Centurion. Many have tried to help her move on, but she would never listen to them. Always holding onto hope that she'll one day be able to see him again, to hold and kiss him once more. Ever since he sacrificed his own life to save her. Her lifes been more difficult than its ever been. Always being nervous if he's even alive, if she'll ever see him again, if he misses her. Their entire planet was in true harmony, war was part of their past sure, but for the past tens of millions of years their planet has been at peace.

In a different time line, after Tronis's first invasion Draxis turned good, realizing that in order to survive. That he and his team must join Drax, and Legion. For he realized they would all die off quickly if he doesn't work along side Drax. While most accepted him, Apothas never did. Draxis has tried for twenty years to gain Apothas's trust but all he got was eyes full with hate. All Draxis wants is for everyone to accept the new him, his good side. But no matter what he did, no matter what he said, Apothas never accepted nor trusted him, while everyone else has.

11. Faith, Evans Blue - This Time It's Different
In a life or death battle against the evil Apothas, Faith awakened all of her hatred, sadness. Unlocked a power beyond that of any she has ever known. The power of her mystic ancestors. The evil Apothas slaughtered everyone including her mother, father. He was aware of her ancestors wanted to kill her while she was using the form, to acquire it for himself. In order to overthrow both Drax, and Dread who were both evil aswell. While Faith was good, and under the command of Tronis. Faith used to be evil herself, until she realized that what she's been doing was wrong. Decided to join Tronis to change her life for the better, and while Draxis was skeptical at first, Faith eventualy gained Draxis's respect and trust.

12. Jaecar, Carry The Crown - Eyes
All Jaecar has ever wanted was his fathers respect and attention. But Draxis would never give him any, so he had to look towards his mother for everything. For all Tronis would do is give him the cold shoulder. It took Jaecars near death experience after being pummeled by Tronis during his first invasion. For Draxis to even talk to Jaecar as his own flesh n blood son. Although that was the first time hes ever talked to his son. Jaecar is filled with joy, to know his father cares about him. His dream is to have a true father son bond with Draxis, even if it takes a lifetime to acquire. Jaecar will never give up.

13. Tronis, Black Veil Brides - In The End
Upon Tronis's defeat in a alternate dimension is was believed that he died in an all out ten year one versus one deathmatch against Dread. Both fighters were critically injured. But unlike Dread who has Skye to heal and revive him at a moments notice as well as replenish his energy whenever she wants to. Tronis had no such luxuries besides his ultimate demonic battle form. While in use Tronis destroyed absolutely all signs of live leaving only Dread and himself in a completely lightless void. Dread soon enough had it with Tronis reversed time, and believably ended his life leaving the biggest whole in Tronis's chest anyone has ever seen, when all of a sudden he appeared to have fallen to the ground lifeless, with the eyes of the dead quickly appearing. Soon enough every life form everywhere was asking for Dreads autograph, while behind the scenes. Unknown to all even unknown to Dread, Tronis somehow survived that fatal attack.

14. Athena, Three Days Grace - Never Too Late
After a long difficult war, wich still continues to consume all. The last surviving members of Drax's Legion are his own grandson Ares, and Athena. Apothas being the last member to die by Tronis's hand, sacrificed his life to save his son and Athena, as his father had done with him, the others. Drax was the very first to die, and as Ares was pouring his eyes out, wanting to die because of everything thats happened and everyone he's lost. Athena kept him strong, even when there was nothing left to fight for, nothing left to protect. Ares has tried so many times to take his own life, but Athena was always there to stop him, to comfort and cheer him up, and he did the same for her. For they lost everything except for each other.

15. Ares, Outrun The Fall - Wolf Tiger
Upon Ares and Athena being the last surviving Legion members that were run by Drax. Ares takes command rebuilds Legion in his fallen comrades, families image. While this new Legion was indeed powerful it had far more numbers. Wich included Ares entire birth dimension. Him and Athena got everyone to join Legion including those that were evil. Everyone finnaly worked together to destroy the greatest evil to ever exist. With the help of Dread and his Legion Tronis's Chaos became quickly over whelmed, their numbers dropped quickly. Causing Tronis, Katrina, Zephyr, Bellatrix, Tronis's son, and Viper to release all of their power, reveal their most deadly, powerful war forms.

The six of them quickly eliminated most of Legions forces, then the strongest members of Legion stepped forward, Dread, Skye, Viper, Vexis, Ares, and Athena. Upon them all stepping forward they all began to fight, but quickly decided to fuse together. The six strongest from both teams fused together to create Dreadnaught, and God Killer. Dreadnaught was the six strongest from Legion, while God Killer was the six strongest from Chaos. When their war finnaly ended long after everything died off from their fight. Dreadnaught became victorious, brought back everyone who had died by Tronis's paws, at the cost of the six of them being trapped in one body. Until Ares, and Athena were reborn into the duplicate dimension.

I don't know what it is with this girl, but she has me in this love state. She's always looking at me with those seductive eyes. But knowing how she's my lord Tronis's adopted daughter, I wouldn't be surprised if she's trying to manipulate me. But alas it wont work on me. But what the heck am I talking about, I can't get her out of my head. She literaly keeps me up all night, I bet she likes that. I literaly can't stop thinking of this girl, this isn't me, what the heck has she done to me! That evil deviless temptress!!!

Katrina loves this song for its beat and words, she listens to it everyday.

Is it enough to have some love...small enough to slip inside a book?

"I must be going."
Shirayuri's chest tightened as the words, all too familiar to him by now, greeted him once more like an old enemy. Every summer, without fail, was spent in mourning, in misery without the warmth of his beloved to keep his pained soul at rest; so much so that the brutal heat of the sun could do little to warm the cold, distant aching within him.

"So soon, my lord?" he responded quietly, though the defeat in his voice made it obvious he knew there was no winning this battle. His paw gently drew the green and pink egg closer to his side, wrapped in the silky robes of his kimono as he failed to meet his mate's eyes. "It's only been a week. The crest of summer is just upon us."

Lucifer's nose touched his forehead gingerly, before moving down to kiss away the tears gathering in Shirayuri's eyes. Hesitantly, the latter moved his golden gaze up to that of the lord of the heavens, delicate and pained.
"You know as well as I do that this was pushing it. I have been away for far too long. I cannot waste any more time," Lucifer replied in his cold, hollow voice, though Shirayuri knew that the soft violet tinge of his eye color brimmed with affection.

That didn't mean it didn't hurt.

"I understand." He drew away from the red-furred viscet, gently pulling their unhatched child with him. "Please, do not allow me to steal away any more of your time. The heavens need you." His voice trembled, almost bitter, but understanding. He knew that there was little use or sense in being jealous of the role his mate needed to keep filled; he had a job to do, just as Shirayuri had his own duties to fulfill.

Lucifer wouldn't leave, though; not when his mate was in a state of unrest. He pressed closer, craning his neck to nuzzle against Shirayuri's soft, lovely mane, his eyes closing.
"I long for nothing more than to stay with you, my love," he murmured, "but that is not how the world works."

Oh, but damn the world! Damn the heavens, the land stretched before them, the very shrine Shirayuri called home -- all he wanted was his happiness, his worries to be at ease, their child to be safe and warm on their first day of life, wrapped in the safety of their fathers.
His tears returned, thick and helpless as he turned, gazing up at Lucifer.
"When will you return?" he whispered. "When will our child know its father?"

Silence greeted his words; he knew the answer. It was always, always a mystery; the thirst of alarm and unrest in the heavens was never quenched, never by any angel that could have stepped in and eased Lucifer's burdens of duty.
Shirayuri's tearful gaze turned to the dim skies overhead, his heart sinking as the clouds parted to allow the sun to shine brightly down on the earth, covering the shrine in its glorious warmth.

Lucifer was being called.

..and is it getting harder to pretend that life goes on without you in the wake?

"I cannot stay forever." Shirayuri's eyes closed tightly, his mouth shut to silence any useless request for him to stay. "Know that I trust you," Lucifer murmured in his ear, "more than I trust any of my elite. You will be the only father our child needs until I am by your side again." Pain gripped Shirayuri's chest, and he bowed his head in acceptance, a formal gesture of affirmation.

"I find it so distasteful to see you look that way." A gentle kiss pressed against Shirayuri's forehead, and he picked his head up, staring up at Lucifer's fast-fading form helplessly. "Stand tall, my love; you have never once been without me. I am always watching."

"I love you," Shirayuri sobbed, his voice cracked with grief. He bowed his head once more as silence greeted his words, and the clouds sealed before him as rain slowly, steadily dripped overhead; Lucifer's longing reached him, even from the heavens. Heart aching, he pushed himself to his paws and tenderly picked up the egg from his robes.

"Come, little one," he said quietly, lovingly, his voice strained. "I will love you enough for the both of us." Lucifer's duty stood tall above Shirayuri and his other earthly attachments; he knew that well. His mate was important, something as endless as time in a realm that commanded respect -- and that respect was granted by the quiet, pained shrine maiden.

...I will gladly stay an afterthought.

"..mmm.." Fidgeting, Yuri's leg jerked unconsciously as if to silence whatever was bugging him. He was sleeping..!

"Ow! Yuri!" hissed the voice, and teeth nipped Yuri's ear roughly.

My lover's got humor...he's the giggle at a funeral.

Yelping, Yuri's ears flicked back and he blinked his sleepy eyes open, looking around with a tiny noise of protest; what..? His gray eyes settled on the grumpy expression of Flynn, his blond mane disheveled and blue eyes tired as if he hadn't slept very well. "Flynn..?"

"You keep squirming in your sleep," snorted the blond, his ears flat with mild annoyance.

"O-oh. Sorry," he murmured, nuzzling against the blond's muzzle apologetically -- before he nipped his neck with a playful flick of his tail, enjoying the yelp that left Flynn this time; oh, he hoped he learned his lesson from that~

If the heavens ever did speak, he's the last true mouthpiece.

"I thought you knew better than to try to fight me," taunted Flynn, and Yuri squeaked as the blond covered him in playful nuzzles and kisses, making him laugh and wrap his paws around Flynn's shoulders, keeping him close as their foreheads touched affectionately.

The only heaven I'll be sent to is when I'm alone with you.

Oh, how his heart sang when he gazed into those wonderful blue eyes; even after the years spent together, Yuri was still captured by Flynn and his sarcasm, his unfunny jokes, his bad hunting skills -- and his protective nature, his loyalty, his bravery...he loved so much of Flynn, even the pieces of him that Flynn didn't like too much for himself, because he knew Flynn felt the same way. Though the heavens stretched endlessly above them, Yuri's heart lay wherever Flynn was -- that was his home, where he was meant to be. He --

Yuri stiffened and perked his ears as lightning crashed down brutally, the latter causing Raven to jostle awake in his nest in the distance -- and then, the moment calmed, with Flynn giving a soft, comforting kiss to his cheek; he hadn't even realized that he'd thrown the blond off - not to mention how wide his eyes had gotten, how fast his breathing grew.
"S-sorry," he murmured, even though Flynn didn't mind. His racing heart slowed and calmed -- that is, until he heard rumbling, Flynn's calm change of topic totally lost on him as he twisted and rose in their nest, looking up and around. What was happening?

Pebbles dropped from the ceiling and Yuri's ears pinned back, cracks stretching across the ceiling as rocks began to fall, crashing into the ground as Raven barked out to evacuate the cave in alarm, rousing the little ones and the grown children alike.
"It's a cave-in!! Get up! Out of the den!!"

Flynn stared in horror before he sprang into action, shifting and trying to rouse the still-sleeping Felix in a tiny nest of his own without noticing the vicious crumbling of the pillars of stone around the overhang, cracks splitting and stretching -- oh, no, no, no!!

Take me to church, I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies -- I'll tell you my sins, and you can sharpen your knife.

Without hesitation, Yuri sprang forward and grabbed Flynn by the nape roughly, yanking him off of the ledge holding their nests just in time for massive boulders to crash down, brutalizing the sloped stone as Felix cried in fear in the blond's paws, falling and tumbling until Yuri twisted and landed hard under the weight of the two. He cried out, gasping in agony from the pain that shot up his spine; oh, his leg-!!
"Yuri!!" Flynn's cry of alarm snapped him out of his daze and he shoved the hovering Flynn with his muzzle, shouting, "Get out!! Go! I'm coming!" As soon as his leg stopped screaming in agony, that was. His mate held their son tighter and grabbed Yuri's shoulder, trying to drag him out before his paws scrabbled and slipped uselessly, his voice frantic.
"No, I'm not leaving you!! We're leaving together!" Flynn insisted, panting and shaking his head stubbornly. "Yuri, please! Help me help you!"

Offer me that deathless death, oh good god...

Yuri panted and looked up at Flynn helplessly, pushing himself to his paws; dammit, he couldn't let Flynn just sit here and get crushed worrying about him! "Go," he pleaded, dragging himself forward -- and finally, the purple shape of Raven appeared, nudging Flynn's shoulder.

"Go on, kid. I'll help him out." Raven flashed a grin at Flynn's uneasy expression, before flinching as stones tumbled around them, and finally the blond left, rushing his pawsteps hurriedly with Felix's terrified yelps and cries echoing in the cave, almost feeding the starved crashing of rocks across the interior of their home.

..let me give you my life.

Raven turned toward him and started pulling him by the nape, and Yuri struggled to help, his leg uselessly dragging along -- he couldn't afford another look back at how broken it was. His stomach felt sick just thinking about how much it would hurt once his mind stopped racing.
"C'mon, kid," Raven snarled around his fur, "we gotta get out of here...!!" Stones crashed and piled up by the minute, the flashes of lightning outside becoming less and less visible as they rushed and Yuri's paws scrabbled for purchase on the ground, his claws scraping lines into the rocks.

By the time they reached the mouth of the cave, it was completely blocked off. Yuri let out a terrified noise as he dug and pushed the massive boulder blocking their way, trying to clear up their exit. Raven was at his side, panting and pushing as hard as he could, while Flynn's desperate voice sounded on the other side.
"Yuri!! Keep pushing -- come on, don't stop trying! You can do it!"

The rockfall finally quelled for the moment as Yuri sank against the stones, his ears picking up every cry of his mate's voice and yet hearing nothing all at once as his leg ached and the agony sprang to life. Though the crashing stopped, he could hear the rumbling -- it wasn't over, but it was slowed.

In the madness and soil of that sad, earthly scene...

And there they were, trapped. Waiting for the cave-in to finish its job. His tired, dull blue-gray eyes turned up to face Raven, who was still determinedly trying.
"...thank you," he breathed weakly. "Thank you for making him go." His voice quivered, cracked and quiet with...acceptance. Tears pooled in his eyes and he shut them tight, pushing his forehead against the piled rocks with his ears pinned back. "Thank you," he sobbed, barely noticing as Raven's pushing, too, died off, until he sat on the ground, letting out a soft sigh.

"No use in lying to you, kid," he said quietly, turning his muzzle up to the ceiling as the cracks slowly, ominously spread. "I didn't see much hope for us the minute he left. I'm only sorry I couldn't get you out, too."

Only then, I am human.

"Yuri!! Raven!! Please-!!" It only hurt more to hear the hope in Flynn's voice -- what good was it to have any hope that Raven and Yuri, with a mangled leg, could do anything to move something like that out of the way?
Weakly, Yuri scraped away the smaller rocks on the edges of the boulder, until he could breathe in fresh air and smell the sweet, familiar scent of Flynn, who immediately rushed to the opening.

"Why'd you stop!? Why aren't you pushing?" he cried, and Yuri's eyes closed tightly once more, grief twisting his stomach.

Only then, I am...clean.

"I love you," he said softly, his voice shaking, and Flynn's voice quivered in agony.

Amen.

"S-stop it! You're not going to die!!"

Amen.

"I love you," he repeated, and Flynn finally crumpled against the boulder, a sob escaping him as his claws scraped the stone helplessly.
"Why didn't you let me help you?" he cried softly. "I-I'm sorry--I'm so sorry, Yuri," he sobbed, his head dropping against the pile-up. "I love you. I love you so, so much." He peered through the opening, his tearful blue eyes dark with a pain so strong that Yuri could feel the sting.

All he could do was gaze back quietly, his chest twisting as he heard the rumbling intensify, pebbles dropping and stones crashing down again as Flynn cried his name and pain wracked his body over and over, taken so quickly that not even a cry could leave him; just agony and suffocated breaths before unconsciousness swept him away within heartbeats, silencing both mental and physical pain altogether.

Amen.

Yuri's head hung low as he reopened his eyes, staring down into the pool quietly.
He lifted his head and turned toward the sour-faced angel staring at him, her eyes dark with distaste, as he dipped his head politely.
"Thank you," he said quietly, "for your time."

"Thanking me? I guess that adds up, for someone who comes and watches himself die every year," snarked the angel, her tail flicking coldly. "I'm surprised you even keep up with the mortal calendar. Fifth day of summer, hmm? Shouldn't you be watching your family enjoy life without you?"

The remark was biting, cold, even for Evangeline, who quieted herself after it left her maw. She stared at him before turning away, closing her eyes.
"...I guess...I would've done the same thing," she said finally. "If there had been a way to let...Evanlyn live...at my expense...I don't think I would have hesitated."

"I know."

"Shut up!! You don't know anything about me!" she snapped, though there wasn't as much venom in her words. Still, Yuri appreciated her attempt at an apology.

"He visits every year, too," he said softly. "This is the only way I can do the same, for now."

There was silence in Evangeline's realm, then, until he finally drew himself to his paws, his eyes closed.

"...you'll see him again," Evangeline said quietly, "just like I'll see her, too."

Yuri's fading steps paused, and he smiled.

"...I hope so."
