When the young Calypso heard her grandma beckoning her, there was nothing abnormal about it. Of course, that was until she remembered her grandma had died last month.

“Is Grandma really gone?” The young Calypso had questioned her mother. “Why do you ask?”, Calypso remembered her mother’s voice cracking as she responded, eyes worn and red from her countless tears. Confused, the young kalon answered: “Because she’s sitting right next to me!” The next thing Calypso could recall from the memory was her mother’s face transitioning from sadness to pure, unadulterated horror.

Nowadays, it was difficult for Calypso to create a break from the distorted melody of voices that tampered with her daily life. Lost family members, most of which she had no clue had even existed, and deceased pets accompanied her every movement. Whether it be by emulating her every step in school, or mocking on her dates and making it impossible to keep a partner, even attempting to rid herself of the spirits was no more than a futile consideration. After the doctors had confirmed this had grown into much more than a few imaginary friends, her parents had exhausted every plan of treatment. From prescribed antipsychotics, to suggesting an exorcism, nothing had seemed to repair her mind. In the end, even though Callie was certain she could distinguish the fine line between reality and fiction, the psychologist had diagnosed her with an early onset psychosis.

For Callie, the hardest part of seeing ghosts was when she woke up, not being able to distinguish if her grandma was beckoning her from the afterlife, or into it.

Hi! My name's Redacted, and I'm the last Kalon in my timeline to practice time travel without dying a horrible death! My Parentals told me to never ever talk to someone from the past, but they didn't say that I couldn't write letters! So, I looked it up on the hyperweb, and one of the things that timetravellers did the most was talk about how the future is! But, since I'm the only time traveller left, I don't think it'd hurt to tell you about myself too!

Well, I'm a polyamorous abyssexual- wait! I should probably say that in the future, a terms like 'male', 'female', 'gay', 'straight', they've all been abolished by the metaphysical republic since 2375! Though the pronouns still stay the same as it's simple for us. And, for reference, my current year is 3784. BUT, since this is going all the way back to 2018, I might as well make it more simple for you! I'm a transman with the ability to have attraction towards people of multiple gender orientations, though not all every single orientation (Out of 10,972 in my time, there's a lot). But, those individuals I'm attracted to come from a similar Abyssal Cycle to mine!

Oh, wait, augh! Abyssal cycles weren't discovered until 2912! I'll explain it to you so you can understand! So, when everyone is created, space and our souls make a strong connection away from the planets and our bodies. ( That's a Sylvian Cycle ) It makes our future identity that we're destined by fate to discover in our lives! Under my abyssal cycle of 'Haelos', there's approximately 5,189 gender-based identities!

I'm technically very special in my timeline, but not because of any of that, that was just an explanation of who I was! It would've been easier if you civilization advanced fast enough...oh well! But what makes me special, is that I have a disease that technically would've caused your version of the apocalypse if it wasn't medically altered to become helpful to society instead of hurtful! Originally, my disease was called the 'Abyssal Zombie Syndrome', and it only affected kalons under the abyssal cycle of 'Haelos', the space god of the undead, and it caused a sort of zombie-like state that made kalons turn to cannibalism as their main source of food! Spooky, right? Well, before it could get too bad back in 2020 (whoops that's actually really close to you, watch out little past friend), the government that used to exist altered the disease to turn into the 'Abyssal Angel Disease" And instead of causing cannibalism, it caused those affected with it to be slightly ill whenever they ate meat! However, all the of the former AAD victims are gone now, but I somehow got the disease passed onto me by my ancestors! Funny huh?

Now, part of me thinks that my AAD causes me to be able to time travel without dying, but that's just a really convoluted theory that probably doesn't even work out in the end....I know a lot of this is probably confusing to you in 2018, but trust me! It's all natural! With the destruction of the government and new technological advancements in medicine and destiny identification, the future is bright!

Redacted hates being special sometimes. Sure, sometimes it's good to be out there and to tell others that he's cool and special and all that, but that doesn't mean it's always the best. Often times, when he's telling others in his own time about his theory about connecting his zombie disease with his ability to time travel, people become hyper-aggressive, and call him awful things. He doesn't often tell people about the pain he goes through, but his fathers see it physically. Redacted, when he goes out with a smile, often comes home covered in bruises and blood from his nose and mouth.

His society is hyper-futuristic, with abilities to identify what someone might come to be in the future, and abilities to identify more closely with yourself through the lack or increased usage of labels at their own pace. However, with this hyper-futuristic future having positives, the negatives are still there. People in his society tend to go against others who are special like Redacted. All genders and sexualities are accepted, but even after so long, people being affected by different diseases and mental disorders are often shunned. His society unfortunately has a history of calling these people the murderers of the future. Redacted, unfortunately has to deal with being the victim of some of these accusations. With his ability to time travel, people have only started to trust him less. These people constantly believe that Redacted will have too much power, and will tamper with something in the future that will lead to death or a change in the future so great that progress and life would go back centuries, or even more. Of course, He wouldn't dare do that, he'd be too scared of ruining his parent's lives or his own life. But that doesn't stop people from assuming he will.
