heyo!! I've been trying to get more on top of things, so here's an adopt! I'll judge this one promptly, I swear. >:'3c
The competition will actually be a comp and not a raffle, but it'll still be fairly simple so most people can participate! Just answer the prompt for this adopt with either 200 words or a sketchy piece (color allowed, much more isn't-- I ask that you don't finish the piece, but just lay out the concepts for one pretty much, same with writing! you don't have to go fully in depth, you just have to give me an idea-- prompt curiosity and get me interested in what you would do if you finished it/if you won the kal)!

Candy! This kalon likes candy-- or do they? They at least seem to... but why? Are they sweet like candy, or perhaps bitter? Do they actually like candy or is it just a facade? Why would they be acting in the first place? Answer however you see fit-- just please tie it in somehow to CANDY in some way or another!

Punkie and his friends had gone out and to play little knowing that a Kalon was right behind them, the Kalon had gone insane and had attacked him and his friends, Punkie had fought back against him giving his friends a chance to escape and was left with a scare on his chest that he does not speak of. Since then he has had a disgust towards candy ever since that day....but strangely he still act as if he loves it.

Prompt - - This Kalon’s personality is as sweet as candy! And speaking of candy....they love candy. Whether it be swirly lollipops, pastel sweets, gooey caramel chocolate bars or even a delicious marshmallow they love all candy. She grew up in an apartment above a candy shop her family owned and always had a sweet tooth for anything sugary. Though while this kalon loves all lollies and sweets, her absolute favourite is sour candy stars. Her dream since she was a kit was to create her own flavour of candy star. “Banana split, strawberries and cream, fruit salad or sprinklicious ice cream?” she mumbled aloud. Anything candy related sparks creativity inside her.
Though despite her sweet outer, Marshmallow can be quite bitter sometimes and can get very snappish.

Prompt -- Everyone likes candy. Some people like candy too much. Kimi's father is a famous confectioner known throughout the land. She grew up with her house always smelling sweet and the kitchen covered in a colourful mess. Then later on, coloured wrappers would cover the floor and then the candies left to be sold. Kimi's father took his job very seriously. He wanted to make the best candy anyone has even seen. He spent many sleepless nights making new recipes. Then he would make them and Kimi was given the job to taste them. Most of the time they tasted nice and told her father to make even more. Other times... They weren't as nice. Her father would watch her face of disgust and immediately set to work to make the recipe perfect. Then the cycle would continue. Besides those ones, Kimi does like candy. She doesn't like them as much as her father and often asks herself why he spends so much time on them. But no matter what she will always support her father. Even if that means eating the yucky ones too.

of course piccolo likes candy! here, everybody does; the public is required to ingest a certain amount before sundown, and piccolo is no exception. he is often found carrying creased packets of skittles in his back pocket, popping a few into his mouth every other hour, quickly washing them down with water so he doesn't cough them back up. sure, he only eats the bare minimum of required sugar, but that's only because he doesn't want to waste any, really!

...truth is, candy makes piccolo sick. the sweetest things he can handle are the sticks of mint gum in his dresser; anything sweeter usually causes him to lose his lunch, hence his excessive intakes of water to balance it out. he has to pretend to enjoy every bite unless he wants the government involved, which is exactly as unpleasant as it sounds. he can totally keep up with the assigned dosages though, really! they don't need to force it down his throat, he promises!

on the outside, she is colorful, glimmering with the promise of sugarcoated delights; her exterior is a wrapper of bold words and vows of superiority to mediocre confections. beyond her outermost cover is another, a chocolate shell, milky glaze, or sprinkle of sugar, and within, layers upon layers of melting sweetness are packed together, each one a new taste of a candy bar or yet another depth of sweetened indulgence. she seems perfect, ideal, desired, but she is a danger in her amount. taste too much of her saccharine words and you'll find them hostile, sickly churning your stomach and seeping in with bitter syrup once enjoyed; you wonder why you didn't stop, why you can't return to delight, and as soon as you wonder, she's gone.
on the other hand, beyond such a common scenario preying upon those who meet her is another that can be compared to sour candy. at first, sharp granules sting at your tongue; endure them and you reach gummy sweetness balanced out by the bitter past...
she titters to herself and pops another lollipop in her mouth. oh, the metaphors her mind spins in boredom.
