How does he/she spend her spring free-time?: As a professional show-stopper, Sulfur spends many endless days and nights patiently being groomed and prepped to be pristine for show season - usually throughout winter for him - so when spring hits and he's allowed out freely into the pasture, you can bet he spends all his time becoming exactly the opposite! He rolls in the muddy grasses after fresh rain, turning a deep brown with green blades of grass stuck this way and that through his mane and tail, unraveling the loose pleats. The best part? When his humans bathe him, erasing his wonderful work so that he gets to do it all over again the next day!

How does he/she spend her spring free-time?: Kilauea loves to pick flowers and make them into flower leis and crowns along with putting them in her mane. She carefully creates her beautiful crowns and leis and gives them away to her friends. All of the flowers must be perfect and must go nicely with the other flowers or else it isn’t good enough for her standards. She has a collection of them in her stall. When she isn’t picking flowers, she’s rolling in the freshly mowed grass or in the post-rainstorm mud. You’ll often times see her prancing around the pasture until she runs out of energy and then goes and lays down in the shade. Often times it gets too hot outside so she will go for a light swim in the pond. When we go to the beach, we can never get her out of the water.
