Cheshire is a very head strong boy, he acts real tuff and ruff and he thinks he is all around a normal boy ( they think they are all tuff and are daredevils and can do anything ) but really Cheshire loves helping others ( yeah he likes it better when he gets something out of it but if he knows that its truly the right thing to do he will do it ). Cheshire is also secretly very kind and down to earth, he loves flowers and bright colors and he loves others who have this bubbly personality it justs makes his secret personality show its self. Some say he has a Jackal and Hyde personality because of how he normally shows he ruff side and then when he feels safe he will let his true self out in some ways its like a reverse Jackal & Hyde personality but it could be that he just likes to fit in with the crowd. This is Knoxx and he is Cheshire's partner in crime. They go everywhere together, they both get super anxious when they have to be split apart. You can actually tell when something is wrong with one because of how they act. They sleep together and even though sometimes they get into trouble they sometimes keep each other out of trouble, but only when they know it is morally wrong though otherwise that goes out the window.

Khan - Khan is a hard but to crack as far as being friends but that was the total opposite when it came to him and Cheshire, they really understood each other. They kinda have the same like morals, they don't like to be very up close and personal with each other and khan actually accepts Cheshire's fun side, Cheshire kinda wears off on khan personality wise, sense those two have known each other khan has gradually grown to be less grumpy and less stand offish.
Mage - Cheshire for
some reason feels a deep connection with Mage, she kinda draws him to her, in all Cheshire kinda has a crush on Mage. It started when Cheshire first say Mage out in the pasture grazing he just saw how calm and content she was. At first Mage didn't really want anything to do with Cheshire for the fact she saw his ruder side. But after about a year or so he finally opened up to her and she kinda felt bad for him and over a little time she kinda grew fond of him, they are now pretty good friends but Mage doesn't really see herself and him being mates, she cares too much about him in a friendly matter to do so.

Cheshire most does western ropeing and cutting but he does do English some times, he still needs some practice but he likes doing show jumping.

Ragnar scoffed from his stall, hearing the song. Sure, he was boastful, but so much! At least, that's what he likes to think. Proud and arrogant, Ragnar has stubborness in his step. Some human at this stable loved these songs. One about Dragons, cloaks of storm, and this individual named Ragnar the Red. However, he didn't let this bother him too much. It was only a myth, no? No such person existed. So no such fortune would fall upon him. He wasn't so bad as this character, right? Ragnar smirked to himself. Doesn't mean he can't be as glorious. When the human came over to pet his nose, as it was standing out of his stall, he replied with a nip and retreated back in his stall. He could hear a huff of indignation, muttering something about I only wanted to pet you. Ragnar chuckled to himself. Maybe when she was worthy enough, not like much of anyone was. For now, he was proud, he was haughty, and he was smug.

Víðir is a buff butch lesbian. She is very brave, she just not not see the point in fear. She loves
endurance riding because its something were she wants to find her limits and try push herself further.
In fact she loves almost all sports, she is very competitive and loves to try to beat everyone.
Víðir also really loves art. She loves how someone can make something so unique and beautiful.
She, if you have not already guessed, is really stubborn, if she believes something then it is extremely
hard to change her mind. Víðir is very protective of people in her close circle. If you insult
her friends of family you better watch out. She is not afraid to beat up someone even if they
are much bigger than her. Heck she would beat up a 18hh draft if she was pissed. Oh did I forget to
say that she loves running and she is really fast. She also has trouble trying to keep herself under
control. When she gets mad she goes full fury, and then when she has cooled off only then does
she realize she hurt someone. Víðir has some issues with her past at the auction yard and moving
homes so much and now she is scared something will happen and she will loose her home and
friends. April was the one who finely got Víðir to calm down and understand she was safe.

::Backstory::
Víðir is, like most of the other horses and Redwood Stables, is a rescue. Her life started off pretty
normal. She had a carefree childhood of play but then she was sold as a yearling. That lasted for
a few months until the elderly woman who Víðir was sold to suddenly passed away. The woman's
son who knew nothing about horses though it would be a good idea to just put her up for auction.
The auction yard was horrible, there were sick and neglected horses. When it was her turn to go out
into the ring she fought. She did not want to be pushed around, but there were to many people and
they got here out there. She thought it was all over when a kill buyer made the highest bid, but then
at the last minute, Amny Myers rushed in and threw down a last minute bid, Amny and the kill buyer
bid back and forth but Amny won. Víðir was not sure if she could trust Amny, after all she had been
through a lot. They got back to Redwood Stables and Amny threw straw down into a stall for Víðir
to stay in for the beginning while they introduced her to the other horses.

April has helped Víðir with some of her anxiety so that now, Víðir can lead a more normal life.
Víðir hates being scared but she could never feel safe because she thought she was going to
at some point be taken away from April. April is the more gentle tolter and helps balance out
Víðir's stupidly brave personality. Together they work as a great team. At this point, neither of
them would know what to do without the other by their side

Patriot is Víðir's best friend.
When she first arrived a RS he was one of they first horses to come up and greet her. They
found out they were quite alike. They both hated Monte, they both were out going and refused
to hid their true self, and they both had a thing for eating watermelon at night. From then on they
were great friends.

Oh how she hates him. Mr. knowitall acts likes he is way better than Víðir because his parents were

Personality:
Red has the mind set that turns red flags to green, he is constantly trying to see the best in others even if he has no reason to assume that there is something good in their soul. From the day he was born, Red has always tried to be the best possible influence on those around him but due to his minor similarities to that he is named after, is sometimes judged unfairly to those around him. Saying this, Red possesses a rare combination of both common sense and intelligence. Having always tried to stay away from trouble, away from those who could drag him down just by being associated with them, it is surprising to say that he has infact obtained the fox-like reputation by standing up for these exact characters. This due to him often holding a blind but kind eye to the extreme flaws in those around him, sadly his kind heart often lands him in hot water. Although Red enjoys the art of making new (not necessarily kind) friends, due to being bullied early on about his unique colouring, has always been a shy character. His shyness is something that stands out about him as it is so opposite to the rest of his traits. Truth be told, Red is a brave old soul but this quality is almost always overpowered by his genuinely shy nature. Although his brave side is often smothered, there are special times where this gold heart shines through. These moments are rare and far between but you can be reassured that when this young gentleman lets it shine through, it is truly something to be remembered.

cold weather - Red has always loved the cold, he loves the change it brings in the landscape. The way to transforms the world around him. Everything can change in time span of five minutes, the wind creates havoc whilst the warm sun creates hope. It truly is a miraculous thing.
watermelon - there is no doubt that watermelon is one of Red's favourite things in the whole world, he loves everything about it from the sweetness of the fruit to the way it looks, he just thinks it's perfect. If Red could be anything other than himself, there is no doubt that he wouldn't want to be a watermelon.
attention - Red loves being watched. He is the type that loves to perform for an audience, he loves people watching him compete and train, he just loves having all eyes on him. This majorly conflicts with his personality and is one of his many secrets but given the chance to be the center of attention, Red is one to take it.
dislikes:
carrots - it's quite strange to find an equine who doesn't like carrots but for some unknown reason, even unknown to himself, Red just hates carrots. He hates everything about them, absolutely everything.
chickens - chickens. Red hates chicken and believes they are demon birds sent from hell to terrorise him. There are many reasons why this tolt strongly hates the feathered beasts, he hates that they are always under his feet, they are so noisy, the way they look, the way they smell etc etc, the list goes on forever. His hatred for chickens comes from when he was a foal but he wont share what exactly happened.

Discipline:
Red is a dressage pony and there is no doubt in the world that he would prefer to do anything else. He loves being watched and what better way then to perform infront of a judge and tons of strangers? Not only is it the show aspect of dressage that he loves, Red's heart is in it for the long run and he is in love with the way it makes him feel. Being an intelligent animal, Red needs his mind to be stimulated constantly and needs to be worked, taught and/or played with six out of seven days of the week otherwise he becomes a true pain in the neck, this is where dressage comes into handy. The fact that it takes so long to master and there is so much to learn intrigues him where he often finds himself dreaming about the day he will be in the Olympics.
Goal:
Like stated above, Red's goal in life is to one day compete in the Olympics alongside the half-a-million dollar Warmbloods he has heard so much about. Red strives to perform to the best of his ability every single time he is in the ring, even when he is casually training he still pushes and pushes and pushes to show someone, anyone that he is capable of performing at such a high level. This dedication hasn't gone to waste and his owners have noticed the amount of heart he puts into every ride and have really been showing more and more often, hoping that one day this amazing little horse will have his talent shown to the world. Red would give anything to compete at such a high level, even if it means leaving his home to compete with someone else, someone who could really take him far. The whole environment that surrounds his discipline excites him, it always has and always will. It makes him feel important at small events so Red really pushes himself make himself improve beyond the ability of his rider.

the receiving of a name ;;
foaled in the wee hours of a day that couldn't make up it's mind whether to rain, snow, or sleet, his showname came was put forth as a suggestion by the stablehand who'd been on foal watch, as they had been re-reading the sixth harry potter book and he entered the world as they thumbed the page over to chapter fourteen, felix felicis. the name of the potion of luck, and once they saw the fluffy, brindle, chimera foal getting to his feet for the first time, they thought it was an aptly fitting name.

his barn name had intended to be felix, with it's charming meaning of lucky, but it was quickly put shelved as his positively gooey personality began to shine through. equine, canine, human, feline; if he could manage to get some sort of cuddles, it was true love from first snuggle; a tolter to lean against, a cat to curl up on his back, a human lap to try and fit himself into - or his head, at least. acushla mo chroí - darling, pulse, of my heart - was supposed to be a temporary thing, just a nickname while they sorted for a name befitting the gentle soul, but stuck it so wonderfully did.

in a single world? soft. as a foal he was determined to fit as much of himself into a human lap as he could, and even as an rather oversized adult tolter, he still enjoys resting his head in someone's lap whenever he can. as long as there's one of the people he knows and trusts well, and the warm promise of plenty of affection of affection once all is said and done, he's solK's most well behaved horse; trusting and obedient when it comes to being handled, whether going to shows, medical checkups, farrier visits or simply being led in and out of the field.

timid may not be a word many would associate with a broad, 17.2 h.h stallion, especially one whom also has floof to add to the illusion he's that bit taller than he already is, but timid he most certainly is at heart. he's most content surrounded by his people and his friends, and put in situation where there's a lack of either - or worse, both - he becomes incredibly flighty and fidgety as his anxiety kicks in. large crowds are one of his least favourite things, but he can manage to get through during shows and the like when provided with the right preparations, but honestly, he'd rather just be home, comfy in the paddock; and so it's where he mostly stays.

whether it's a foal or a completely other species, if a baby animal in his vicinity is in any way distressed it won't be long before he's tracked it down to comfort and stand guard until further help arrives. children absolutes adore him, with his soft fur, gentle nature and long easy strides. one of the semi-feral rescue barn cats surprised everyone when she gave birth to her final litter before being spayed in his barn stall, and moved them back every time anyone attempted to move them. it wasn't an easy eight weeks, with as many kittens scampering about his hooves, but he wouldn't have had it any other way. even now, all adults and fixed, at least two can usually be found in his stall at any one time. his protective streak of distressed young also branches out to his friends. he's more than content to play peacemaker, breaking up fights in the paddock; usually quite an easy feat, as he's saint ottterlake's largest tolter on record.

↪ acushla's nearest and dearest friend since they were foals, the duo are rarely ever seen parted from each other's side whenever the opportunity to be stuck to each other like glue presents itself; whether in the fields or in their neighbouring stables. fox has always had just the right amount of curiosity to encourage and push acushla to investigate the world around him more, and being cuddly in her own right to enjoy his physically affectionate nature when he gets worn out from the day's activities, and to comfort him in times of stress. the pair can often be spied looking up at the night sky's together if they're out at night.
solK a glimpse beyond the illusion // gadreel
↪ if either were the sort, one may call gadreel acushla's biggest competitor for softest horse at solK, however competition they definitely don't see each other. many a photo has been taken by owners, staff, and visitors alike of them huddled up in the fields together. one particularly charming photo even won a local photography competition. acushla enjoys the older tolter's company; their steady warmth, their kindness, and their intuition as to whether it's a day for quiet cuddle, or a day to explore the fields for any signs of autumn.
solK just deserts // coyote (and latra)
↪ some say there's a thin line between love and hate. and between acushla and coyote it's most certainly true. there are days where acushla is content to pointedly ignore him and his feline companion and whatever antics they're scheming for the day ahead, days where they mess about like a pair of colts meeting another energy-full youth for the first time, and times where they outright need to be separated when coyote becomes too much a nuisance and acushla chases him wide from the other tolters to give them a break.
