⌲ riverkit - "river, ahh when i think of that word it brings me back to the sound of the rushing waters, my favorite sound, and the sent of the fish that thrived in the chilly tides. i love the feeling of the riverbed and the way the water feels when it flows through your pelt," larksong closed her eyes, smiling as she thought about her happy place.
⌲ twigkit - "i love the way that twigs feel when they crack under your paws, the sound it creates is also very satisfying to me," she she-cat giggled when she spoke about why she liked twigs.
⌲ lavenderkit - larksong breathed in, "i love the way that lavender smells, it is my favorite scent so it only makes sense to name one of my kits after the flower," larksong spoke.
⌲ windkit - "just like the river, i love the way wind feels when it flows through your pelt and the way it tickles your ears when it rushes over them, i just love it," purred larksong.

Sagewhisker only has one name in mind: Lilykit. Lilies symbolize hope for Sagewhisker. After a battle when she left her twoleg place, Sagewhisker has been unable to have kittens despite it being the only thing she wants. Even though everyone says there's nothing to be done, she still hopes one day to have a kit of her own to name Lilykit

prompt: Cricketheart doesn't mind how many kits she has, nor their genders, however, assuming she had two little toms (her most desirable outcome), one that looked like her whilst the other was a solid black and white, here would be their names. She would call the brown tabby and white kit Finchkit, and the little black and white kit would be called Ternkit, after the birds that soar high in the sky, perhaps hinting toward potential greatness in their adulthood, which she so hopes for them.

prompt: (113/300) oakswallow had a rough life, a tough life, and of course, being the sturdy tom he was, he'd want his kits to all have strong names. He has always wanted two sons and two daughters though, to keep it all even. His oldest son would be named Rockkit. For the sturdy way rocks are, and how they always stand strong. The oldest daughter would be named Albatrosskit, for the strong bird that graces the sky. The younger son would be Rootkit, for always having deep and firm beliefs in the world. The last daughter would be Ashkit, for the strong coals and leftovers that still stand strong, even through the hardest of storms.

if barleythistle had kits, which she hopes to one day, she would name them after the group of loners she used to live with.

cypresskit - first and foremost, she would want to name a kit after the cat who convinced the others to let her join their group. cypress defended her when the others questioned if she would make a good addition, and barleythistle will forever be grateful for that.
sparkkit- she would want to name her second kit, if she had one, after an apprentice-aged cat in the group who was always hopeful for the future. he met an early fate after he drowned in a lake trying to catch a duck, and barleythistle always thought he deserved better.
mockingkit- she would name her third kit, if she had one, after spark's grieving mother, mockingbird, who spent the first moon wailing at everything that reminded her of her lost son and who eventually refused to eat and died of what the whole group described as a broken heart.
stagkit - she would name her fourth kit, if she had one, after the cat she fell in love with, stag. he joined the group not long after her and spent all of his moons there making profound gestures of love to her. she always thought he was a bit silly, but one day realized that somewhere along the line she had fallen for the romantic, goofy tom. he promised her that they would be mates and have a family together, away from the other loners, but she hesitated to leave the group. he assured her it was okay, they could stay, but she woke up the next morning to find the other half of her nest empty. he had left without a goodbye. she still misses him and wonders why he left, and a part of her thinks she'll always love him. she would never admit to naming a kit after him, though.
