She remembers the first time she ever laid eyes on Povas. Within their small group of travelers, Bailey and her family was new to the lifestyle-- they wanted something of an easier life, but they hadn't known that living off the land and providing for your entire family without the wealth of being well off and spoiled was going to be the hardest thing they'd ever done. Not easy by any means. But the reward was greater, and they were satisfied with their new life.

Bailey made quick friends with Povas, being roughly around the same age as one another-- though friendship very swiftly turned into infatuation, at least on her end, and Bailey found herself constantly pining over the young male. They spent a lot of time together, and Povas was very quick to tell anyone who would listen that she was his best friend, but Bailey wanted far more than friendship. The only thing stopping her from addressing her feelings at the time in their youth was the fear of rejection. He was very well versed in living off the land, having done so his whole life without riches and spoils, and he was rather devout in their Guardian, Ugin. He had a vision, and a dream, and he was not going to stop until that dream was made true.

It began to fall into place for Povas the moment he met Šarka during one of their travels. She was a young and pretty thing, starry patterned feathers glinting by the light of the dancing flames as Povas stole her away to talk and dance and play about-- he was wooing her, courting her, and Šarka was enthralled by him. All Bailey could do was stand by and watch, as this spoiled little rich girl was being treated the way she had always wished Povas would treat her. Of course, however, how could she not be happy for him? He was smiling more, and laughing. His angry outbursts were dulled, and certainly not as concerning any longer since he'd been hanging around Šarka... and yet, Bailey still couldn't figure out just what it was that attracted him to the other female.

Wasn't she enough for him? Wasn't she more than just a best friend?

The night Povas came to Bailey, asking that they meet later that night so they can have a serious conversation, the girl thinks that this is finally it. This was her chance, and Povas was coming to tell her that he had made a mistake in Šarka and wanted her all along. Bailey had her hopes up, so when she met with Povas later, only to see Šarka standing next to him with stars in her eyes like he held the whole universe in his paws, the woman was immediately heart broken and could hardly hear what was being said to her. Join his show? Join their show? Bailey was almost appalled at the notion, but she was Povas' best friend... and in retrospect, she wasn't particularly ready to let go of him that easily either.

Their troupe continued to grow over the years, and Bailey met so many amazing individuals, but her focus was always on Povas and she wondered if she'd be able to do anything at all anymore without having him on her mind. She was integrated into the show easily, finding that she had been blessed with powers by Ugin as well, even when she thought she may be the odd man out in the end. With her newfound ability to play with illusions and card tricks, Bailey has been able to push her feelings for Povas aside for the good of the show. She respects their troupe more than anything, and even as tough as it is to work alongside the male you love, the show must go on.
