short story; Sometimes Dra felt down, and when she did she'd head outside into the sunshine and soak it up. Her favorite time of day is noon, when the sun is up and its warm out and she feels like the whole world is sunny and smiling. You can always catch her with a smile on her small face as she skips into town, or out of town (usually out of town), to the only place everyone and anyone who's a kid goes; Mama Pie's. Its the best place, the place all her friends are, and love to go. On this particular day Dra was feeling super low, she wouldn't be able to go see her friends because she had chores to do, and they involved her going all the way out to her uncles farm to pick up things for mama. And while she loved it there, she was suppose to meet Fauna and Merry outside of the forest so they could travel in together and spend the day playing with the rest of their friends.

She glumly walked to her uncles farm, dragging her feet for awhile. But soon she heard someone calling her name, and turned back to see Fauna and Merry racing toward her, giggling and tumbling over each other to get to her.

"Sunny!!!" They shouted together, leaping on her in greeting, tumbling them all down in a giggling mass.
"You're here! But I have to bring Mama eggs and veggies, so I can't play today," She sighed, picking herself up and helping up the pair of them.
"But your mama said if we help you, you can come play!" they grinned at her, already trotting toward her uncles house.
"You are the best!" She yelled, stunned, and instantly cheerful. She raced after them to catch up. It was amazing to have such good friends!

grifforik - your story was adorable. It wasn't a complex or long story but it certainly told me exactly the type of friends she has. Those are the best type of friends and stories imo. <3

Firnenfire - your story was really intriguing, I like the way you went about your story telling as well. It was exciting and the end resolution was a good one.

xostef202 - this story was absolutely precious. I just love how the character progresses, going from disliking the "punishment" to actually enjoying and embracing it. this story was super cute!

Abraxis - overall a very unique story approach. I liked it as an overall and how tough the little viscet is as well. Very nice touch.

cyberdragon725 - this was a very cute story overall. A bit of self-discovery and growth that is obvious in the story which I always love seeing in forms like these. I can imagine the garden so vividly and the look of wonder of the viscling face, it just filled my heart with joy honestly. <3

Unleashed Squid - this was a really close call honestly. I was stuck between your form and the winners form for a considerable time as I debated who the win should go to. Your form was outstanding and gave me so many emotions. The genuine fear and general emotions captured in your form were so raw and real. The story was unique and surprising as well and the ending, oh the ending. I need to know what happens next!

true knight - as I previously mentioned this was such a close call. I struggled to figure out who was the winner on this one. Your form was also outstanding. The emotions were written into every word and that poor viscling. I felt so hard for that child, my heart hurt for for her and ngl I nearly shed a few tears before I was even finished reading. The story was sad but with hope at the end, the interactions were witty and brought humor to an otherwise sad story. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I am happy to announce you the winner!
