So this ones one of the weekly challenges 'Nature' was the theme and I decided to try my hand at an opal texture.

Item reason: Meissa was never born in a wealthy family, her parents were poor and lived isolated from most towns. They worked in the mines they owned and always brought back precious jewels. Her parents loved their job and each mission was worth it, a sparkle here and there meant the world to them. They sold the jewels to local jewelry crafters and lived a nice life near the mountains. Meissa grew up living life simple and wonderful, one faithful day, he parents surprised her on her birthday with precious jewels that they worked hard to mine. She was touched, instead of selling the jewels for profit, they saved them to her. She worked hard and became a jewelry crafter where she turned the jewels from her parents into a magnificent bracelet. The hard work finally paid off!



Growing up away from society, things aren’t just handed to you, you have to work to achieve it. Passion, dedication, time, effort, they’re all important things. Today I went mining with my dad, who showed me how to break apart a jewel without damaging it, I didn’t get it at first but soon enough, I got the hang of it. That’s when I found a cream colored crystal sparkle out of the corner of my eyes. It reminded me of the moon. Carefully,I plucked the crystal out, I was so caught up in finding it, I tripped over a rock. The crystal flew into the air and broke in half. My dad walked over and saw what happened, he reassured me he could fix it and left off. I was disappointed in ruining the perfect jewel when my dad returned, in his paw, were two moon earrings! He explained how his friend was a jewel crafter who owed him so he asked him to create something out of them. They were beautiful, they’re like my lucky charm. Suddenly the negative turned into positive.

The opal stone of the moon was crafted specifically for the purpose of magic and protection for the child who's chosen for the gift of healing. Opaluna was that chosen child for her heart was pure and her mind was kind. The stone harnesses a fragment of her soul keeping it bonded to her at all times as such is unable to be taken off or she would fall into a deep slumber with no dreams. The stone has a gold amulet of the moon made into it which keeps the power from escaping through moon protection magic.

The amulet at full moon with glow in the night and give off small waves of magic to all around the proximity. For opaluna it glows bright in times of danger or when she has exteme amount of one emotion. In times when opaluna's life is in jeopardy the stone will automatically put up a magic defense bubble of sorts with moon mahic current a that knocks out whom ever comes too close.

The stone keeps her safe and through each day makes her more and more powerful until the day comes she must raise up and end the war. The war of light and shadows lead by the great darkness and tge legion of light. The stone has the power once fully ready, to end the shadows and bring the to their demise. The moon which has light can only be seen in the darkness making it the most powerful weapon and peace bringer in the coming days.

Opaluna has fear what if the stone fails what if she fails... This she does not know till the time comes to bring an end to the tragedy of the shadows. Till that time she becomes and trains to be more powerful and more courageous every day. The stone grows more powerful as the time for war approaches more near. The stone glows almost constantly and realeases more energy and magic from deep with in it's power source of the moon.
 
The time has come opaluna bring this war to an end, restore the peace beyond the valleys and mountains.
Use the magic within yourself and your heart bring the pure untouched by evil soil back to these lands. Wear the stone and save us from the atrocious and most certain death that lies before us...
