Here is the first suakko from me, a simple-ish brown one.
For this one tell me how they got their name. It could be passed down through generations or a name based off an experience they had. You can add an extra of either one art piece or a story of any length. The most creative backstory behind the name wins!

Name; Lusine
Gender; female
How they got their name;
A long time ago, she ran away from home. She always longed to be more important, and she figured her fortune was out there, just waiting for her to find it. So she was a traveler for quite some time.
One day she was tree climbing above a cliff late at night. She was hoping to get a good look at the stars, but then the branch below her snapped and she fell quite the distance. A pile of leaves broke her fall, but she was still stunned, and by the time she recovered there were several people she’d never met before watching her with stunned expressions.
These strangers thought she’d fallen from the stars, which wasn’t difficult to think, considering the white spots scattered through her fur like stardust. It was silly of the locals, but when she’d caught her breath she realized what a brilliant opportunity this was. A chance to finally be someone meaningful.
So she spun a web of lies, convinced the poor fellows that she’d been living on the moon and had fallen down to dwell among them. She bragged that she knew great secrets and could teach them many things. And with this new identity, why not pick a new name as well?
The strangers asked for her name, and she made it up then and there, from a memory of an old book she’d read, so very long ago. Lusine meant moon, didn’t it? It was perfect.
So Lusine began her life of falsehoods.
One Extra; Art coming soon?

Name; Calatheas
Gender; Female
How they got their name; Her mother spent all her young life in the treetops, never one paw set on the ground as she was growing up in the Puu clan. One day, while having a rather rambunctious game of tag with her siblings, she misjudged her leap between branches and fell like a stone to the ground. With a solid 'bump', she landed in a bed of large, green leaves and looked around her. Beautiful white flowers surrounded her and with a tentative paw, she picked up the one she had fallen on. The petals were soft and it seemed to be in layers, petals stacked on top of each other to make a tall flower that rose into the sky. She was in awe. That is what sparked her love of flowers and was determined that her first child, if a female, was going to be named after the flower that sparked a life long passion.
One Extra; How Calatheas feels about her name: While Cal wishes that perhaps her mother could have chosen a simpler flower name for her daughter, she could never see herself changing it. It is unique like she is and it is a connection to her mother that she'll always have.
