Name: Bella di Notte (also goes by the nickname Belle!)
Why this name?: Mirabilis jalapa, the "marvel-of-Peru", or the four-o'-clock flower, is a night blooming flower which comes in a variety of colors, including white, pink, and violet. This flower has many common names, one of which is Bella di Notte in Italy. I chose this flower specifically because the design on the kalon looked a beautiful shade of dusk, like the sun setting, whilst a certain flower only starts blooming at that time. I thought it was a nice concept to cover why the kalon was colored as such, and why it has a flower pattern on its tail. ^^
Additionally, bella di notte in Italian means "beautiful during night", which I thought was a lovely meaning for the kalon's name. c:
