Name: Frost
Gender: Female
Betrayal:
It had only been last winter, Frost and her littermate were stranded; lost. Winter snows and icy wind had chilled her to the bone as she would trudge through the snow, footsteps heavy. Her littermate would run off ahead, always being in better shape than she. They could bounded forward for kilometers at a time without any sign of slowing down and then return shortly thereafter only to find Frost still far behind. This put Frost at a slight disadvantage, not being able to move as quickly. Her muscles would scream at her in intense agony if she every tried to take such long and quick strides. It just didn't seem possible. Something didn't seem quite right, either. Not with how much energy her littermate could keep up with. Frost would follow in their footsteps to the best of her ability. Sometimes, she would debate whether or not this was all some kind of ploy that was already thought of and set in stone. She knew her littermate was a jealous kind, the essential needy attention seeker. With a growling stomach and howling aches shooting through her body, Frost had given up. It had been three days now without any sign of her littermate and it was getting much harder to push on and move forward. By now, all traces of her littermate had been covered up and blown over by the winds and their shower of snow. It hadn't hit her until now that this was all done in vein to remove her from her loving family, to take her out of the picture. Frost curled up tightly into a ball, giving up to sheer hopelessness as she realized her own littermate had planned this out for their own benefit. They were now the only child, the single mouth to feed, and would receive more attention and spoilage than ever before.

Name: Sammy, nickname "Samette"
Gender: Female
Betrayal:
Paws on the ground, ears up.
Sammy put her ears up, waiting for the rest of her group. The group was an hour late this time, which was surprising. Sammy rolled her eyes at her group's antics, always being somehow late. Last time it was because of a "bunny that needed help getting a carrot." What was next? All of her group's excuses were always somehow dumb. She believed she was the smartest in the group, and that they needed her.
Sammy shivered at this point. She had been out in the cold, winter weather waiting for an hour for her group. Where in the world were they? She started thinking all about what happened to the group, and where they were. "Are you okay?" another Viscet asked.
"Um, yeah, just waiting for my... group.." she responded. "Suit yourself." they said, leaving.
It was 2 hours later, and Sammy was just about to give up, when she saw a group pass by her. They looked like all her groupmates, and she wanted to greet them. She went up to them, and they all looked at her with a confused look. "Do you need anything?" they asked her. She realized those weren't any of the group members. "Oh no, I was looking for my group." she responded. "Why didn't you say so?" they asked. Say so? She just went up to them like.. a minute ago. "What's your name?" they asked. "Uh, Sammy."
"Let's call you Samette!" they said back. Samette? Where in the Viscet world did they get that one?
"Where did your group like to rest?" they asked her. "In the caves." she replied. "The caves, let's go!" they said, running off. Sammy tried to run at the same speed, but they were faster than her and she just had to run behind. "Cave one!" they shouted, running into it. Sammy ran into it as well, with no sign of her group. "We shouldn't travel further." Sammy said. "Oh come on! You're ruining the fun!" one of them said.
"They never traveled further." she responded. "Oh okay." the leader said. "Off to the next cave!"
The next cave was the cave the group was in earlier, before moving further. She didn't think they would have returned to the cave, but it was worth a shot anyways. The others ran in the next cave, and zoomed right out. "No Viscets in here.' they said. That was quick.. she thought.
They were helping her after all, so there was nothing to be mad about. The other two caves were blocked off, and you couldn't get in if you tried. Well, they did try, but they didn't get in.
"Go find food." they said to Sammy. That was unexpected, but she should repay them somehow. She went to find food, and found some. They were gone already. "Where did they go?" she mumbled to herself. She saw them, running off and laughing. This time, enraged and saddened of their "betrayal", she ran at full speed, and caught up to them. She grabbed one of them and held him to the ground.
"Bad idea!" they laughed. He broke free and continued running with his group. She was out of breath and could no longer run after them, so she just decided to retreat and lay down on the grass.
She never found her group and now just lives as a loner, making sure she is never betrayed again.
