PTP #209

Postby ABeardedDragon » Mon Nov 27, 2017 5:08 am

Paint-Tailed Pythons(PTP) are a unique breed of pythons that have paint seeping from their tail tips. PTP tend to be slightly smaller than their close cousins, ball pythons, females being around 2-3 feet long and males 1-2 feet long. Hatchlings are dramatically smaller at only 5 inches long.
Pythons tend to be quite intelligent, and PTP are no exception. PTP tend to be quite shy when first introduced to their owners, but will warm up quickly and soon become inseparable. PTP have exceptionally long lifespans, and have been known to live for upwards of 60 years.

A little tiger snek! Tell me about a time they were brave. c:

PTP Name: Caramel
PTP Gender: Female
PTP Rarity: Common
Bravery: Once, this phython was setting across the jungle to meet her friend, when she bumped into a baby snake. Backing away, she apologised profusely, but soon realised that the baby was looking at something else. Out of nowhere, a deep rumbling resounded behind her. Swivelling around, she saw herself looking into the eyes of tiger. As a baby, she had always been petrified of large cats, and this was no exception. Slithering away, Caramel started bubbling words of apology at the tiger, as she backed away. With a low growl, the tiger made its way towards the baby snake. It was inches away from the youngling, as it spat at the snake in disgust. Caramel, who was witnessing this at a distance, gulped. She couldn't just leave the baby unprotected. But then again, she had been scratched by a tiger before, and had vowed never to mess with one again. Besides she didnt know the baby, why should she help? Then again, it was a helpless baby! It was only fair that she helped....
Braving herself, Caramel flung herself at the tiger, landing squarely on its back and flinging brownish paint all over the tiger, she gripped tightly onto its massive body, using her fangs to hold on and winding itself around the tiger. She then timed her attack carefully and flung a drop of paint into the tigers eyes. The tiger roared angrily, trying to fling Caramel off. "Go!" She hollered to the baby python, who was fastened to the ground, eyes wide with terror. Snapping out, the baby squealed and slithered off. Caramel then let the tiger fling her into the bushes, where she crouched, letting her body blend into the tall shrubs. As the tiger lumbered away, still batting at its eyes, Caramel heaved a sigh of relief. She was glad to have overcomed her fear to help the baby. As she slithered home, she repainted the stripes on her body. After all, it had saved her and the baby snake.

PTP Name:Auburn
PTP Gender:Female
PTP Rarity: Common
Bravery:Auburn is brave by adventuring. She goes on many adventures and typically finds herself in a dangerous situation more or less. For example, one time, she had gone out adventuring across the high deserts of colorado. She slithered around meeting all sorts of animals and finding all manner of antique items littered about. She continued on her journey an came across an animal no snake would be pleased to meet...an eagle. Auburn high-tailed it to a rock crevice near by. Once she was under cover she began forming a plan for how to escape the eagle still circling above. Then, after thinking for a while, she slithered out of her hiding space and began calling to the eagle! "Hello up there! Care to talk?" She braced herself. The eagle landed right in front of her in a matter of seconds. "What about?" Said the eagle. "Not eating me?" She asked. The eagle laughed and looked at Auburn "I've never seen a snake so brave--or possibly stupid as those tend to go hand in hand--but bravery this strong is rare and I will not eat you now." "Thank you!" Cried Auburn. "I hope I'm not over-stepping my boundries here but could I get a ride home?"
