Healing can come in all shapes and forms, from spiritual to methodical. That’s what I decided to dedicate my life too, when I was younger I got terribly sick from an unknown illness that they called Lynarica. Doctors and healers of all type from everywhere came to preform their task in attempts to succeed in healing me. I went through everything, medicine, spiritual rituals, herbs, special potions, therapy, you name it. All left me feeling no better then I started off with. No progress had been made, eventually most gave up and sent me their prayers. It was only a matter a time before everyone thought there was nothing left in store for me...

One day a mysterious viscet of age came knowing that there was an emergency from a distant land, he had explained had visited in promises of trying to solve my issue. I noted when he first entered our home, he certainly acted quite different from the other healers. Never asked me how I felt or asked what was going on, instead he came in with confidence and with his deep voice he asked me one simple question... “What is your desired wish?” I was confused, and kind of mad. If I hadn’t been this sick I met have tried to snap at him. I just wanted to live without this stupid whatever thing dragging me down and to have the opportunity to live a normal life without constantly coughing and lying a bed. A day without pain and to be free from it obviously and he was asking me what I wanted. And I thought it was obvious enough. “To live” I responded, like he was absolutely ridiculous which he kind of was. “Then what?” He continued...

“I thought for a while before responding, “I want to live to experience things, and to help others to never suffer through what I’m going through.” I said it so confidently and surprisingly strong. I was shocked, normally I could barely speak much less be so bold. I could think straight again, it felt so fresh and powerful in my mind. Like my thoughts were being reborn. “Very well, Then their is no reason for you to be lying there hopeless in despair” he said before getting up and leaving, then he stopped and without turning around he whispered carefully “Then do what it takes to reach it, you’re not truly sick, your just not confidence. Never forget confidence is your key and the only way to pass the door you face is to use it... And with confidence you may thrive to live your dream. For one with no confidence and can never believe will never be confident to face what they may endure.” With that he swept his cape left and never came back.

I never saw him after that but what he did was a type of healing, I knew it. He set me on a track of determination and three days later I was back in shape like nothing ever happened. Whatever he did, I wanted to master it. I studied hard, making up for the time I was sick and I always remembered what he had told me. I knew the only way to achieve it is to do it myself, I studied psychology, potions, herbs, medicine, and most importantly with confidence. Confidence in what I was doing and Confidence in my goal. With that I knew one day I could find the cure to the terors of any sickness that was bestowed against me.

(So this was meant to be in like a different dimension with magic and with like an older time period so sorry if the writing didn’t sound like and older times, oh well I tried with all the fancy words I could think of lol)

He looked down at hid clipboard at the information written about this particular subject, and then looked to his dorky coworker who was almost... playing with the subject..

He smiled as he looked through the papers that had her results from the tests they had previously done. The scientists were eager to learn everything they could about the shy species of a low population that recently popped up.

"Looks like you have one test and some therapy for that arm of yours, miss." The other researcher chuckled as he extended his arm inside the bars of the cage to stroke her forehead.

He gave him a dissaproving look.
"W-What are you doing!" He yelled, "Stop messing with the test subject, Peter. And certainly don't call it- her- 'miss' or anything of the sort! Also, no Arm therapy for today. Will take too much time, she doesn't need it."

"B-but Alonzo... I feel bad for her. She is so sweet and she can barely use that left arm of hers. Based on our knowledge, she looks as if she will reach full maturity this year, and she probably wants to one day care for a child of her own. Don't you think she would be sad if her arm doesn't heal and she isn't strong enough to raise a kid? We of course have tests to do- information to gather, but this is a living being. We have to help her arm get stronger. That was a nasty cut and bad break she came in with." Peter sighed with sympathetic eyes.

Alonzo sighed and felt silly for being foolish.
"Alright. Ih- Her session is late today, so it will have to be shortened by fifteen minutes to allow proper feeding time to happen. A session is a session though."
