Good day, ma! How are you? It has been some time since we last spoke, right? If you couldn't tell, its me, Beverly.
Life over here in the plains has been really different. There isn't the chits of the cicadas, the chats of the squirrels, nor the chirping of the birds waking me up every morning. It's actually completely different. I hardly wake up to the cold breezes in the morning, and rarely I see a rabbit hop by. It's nothing like the forest, where everything comes around at once, waking up daily at the same timing.

How has life been ever since I was gone? Does dad miss me? Write back to me, telling how you are, alright? And with that, are you still are home? If not, I hope that wherever you are, at least you are happy, and that you'll continue being happy!

A friend in my group chat messaged us, asking us if we could go anywhere in the world, where would we go. Everyone said places like California and L.A, but not me. I said the Canadian Rockies. 'But why would you go there?' they asked.
I tell them I want to go because of how beautiful it is. The Canadian Rockies are untouched by man, the waters are so clear you might as well be looking in a mirror. 'But what would you do there? Sit and breathe?' Yes, I said. I would just sit and watch. Watch the leaves blow in the trees, and just, breathe, not think about work or school. Just, breathe."
