What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

Story:
Maybe, many of you are asking how I got this jeroglifics in my body because well...I must admit that is a bit extrange or weird... So, to explain that we have to fly until the past, when I was nothing, when my parents met for the first time...
It was a bright beautiful day, a young and beautiful stallion cantered through a large oasis checking his herd. But in fact, he wasn't checking it, he was searching someone: A beautiful bay mare he met and fell in love with the last summer in the same place he was now and since that day, they meet every evening.
So that day, as always, Anoup(the stallion's name)didn't find her.But suddenly someone in his herd screammed:"Anoup, help me, she is here!!" The young horse cantered until he found out: One of the mares had found his beloved one, his jewel, his love...But there was a problem...She has been attacked by a huge pack of jackals, she has a lot of wound and she was also covered by blood, she couldn't walk.
Anoup started crying for her, and she stayed with her for days and nights...But in the Fourth day, she died... Anoup cryed as he never did before and prayed for Ra to help her in the afterlife, but something magical happened...Ra itsself appeared in a horse form in front of Anoup and he said: "Anoup, lead stallion of the Eastern Herd, I heard you told me in your pryings that you were and still are capable of doing whatever to bring Sina to live again. So I'm going to give you one opportunity to bring her to live: She will live, but in exchange you will die. But you won't seriously die, you will become my right hand in the world of the dead and life, your name would be Anubis and you are free to take the souls off the corpses of the mortals as a punishment. I now it is hard, but I will compensate you, I swear" So, Anoup responded to Ra: " As you said, God of Gods, I would do everything for her, so my answer is yes"
Three months passed and Anubis kept wathching for Sina every day from the sky....The herd understood everything when Anoup/Anubis explained everything to them before leaving to never return....But something was changing, Sina's belly was growing a little bit every day. And some months later...I borned.
The herd wanted to punish my mother and I from their territory but suddenly something happened...Anubis got off the heavens and he informated the horses that I was his son and he gave me a gift. My coat, my magnificent coat. Then, he left. It was the first and last time I saw him, but I now he is always watching for me, for us.

Handmade drawing done by me of Ammit's dady in his Anubis form
Name Meaning:
(/ˈæmɪt/; "devourer" or "soul-eater"; also called Ammut or Ahemait) was a female goddess in ancient Egyptian religion with a body that was part lion, hippopotamus and crocodile—the three largest "man-eating" animals known to ancient Egyptians. A funerary deity, her titles included "Devourer of the Dead", "Eater of Hearts", and "Great of Death".

Personality:
Ammit is a very brave mare. She loves to spend time outside playing with the other horses. Also Ammit is always helping the other herd members and other wild animals. But she is sometimes a bit ...bossy. And the others don't like it too much. They even have sometimes some arguments with each others.
Theme song:
