Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sentient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

I had this palette saved for a while, and thought it's pretty Halloween-ish, so now would be a good time to use it.
This one has been sitting in my drafts though, because I have a few designs open right now, and a another special one for Halloween.

potion: A potion that lights up the air with glowing orbs to help travelers find their way. Its not that she likes other creatures, she just wants them out of her forest as soon as possible!

potion: An allspice potion! It's full of nutmeg, cinnamon, and ground cloves. It smells like home and warmth, chock-full of memories and dreams. The brew simmers in a large grey cauldron, surrounded by shelves brimming interesting and foreign ingredients. Despite the strange atmosphere, it feels cozy and inviting, and seems to beckon you closer. Though you're unsure of it's purpose, you trust it. The Kalon of this potion is much the same! Her personality is warm, and easy to trust, albeit slightly mysterious and weird.

potion: A memory potion. You see, this girl can't remember much at all. She woke up in a cave in the forest unsure of where she was, what she was doing there, and who she even was. She wandered the forest for a while, searching for some sort of answer to her dilemma when she came across a tree house. Inside, she found two kalons.
Theodosia the great witch and Yuriko the plant goddess. Both of them seemed to know her, but too reluctant to share. She begged for their help. They decided on a compromise, if they wouldn't tell her they would at least try to help her regain the memories.
It called for many strange things such as a lock of hair of the one with the darkest soul, the tooth of a siren, and a memory you'd forgotten. Seems impossible to get most, correct? Very true. How was one supposed to get a memory that she'd forgotten, isn't that the reason for the potion after all?
She was determined to regain the memories though, and so she was off.

potion:
Her potion is used as a Halloween banquet prank! She uses it on her friends ever year,
and they always fall for it! This potion, when drank, will turn everyone into slugs for
30 minutes straight! It is called the Squishing Squelchies, and she gets such a serious
kick out of doing it! Whenever it works they've got her on the floor, snorting until the
morning! She discovered the prank after purchasing a Halloween potion prank starter
kit, which included a smaller scale version of this potion. She soon managed to develop
a bigger and better potion.
Ingredients:
- Apple juice
- A dash of ectoplasm
- Slug pellets
- Mushroom exract
- Spiderweb oil

"Guys, the drinks are ready!" Samira hummed with excitement, before passing out the
shimmery silver goblets all across the vast velvet tablecloth. They sniffed it instictively,
and she chuckled. "It's just apple juice, guys. Drink," she said, and they exchanged looks
before taking long sips. Samira slapped a hand over her mouth to hide her giggles before
watching them turn into slugs slowly, and as soon as she blinked, they were small green
slugs slithering slowly along the floor. She burst out into hearty laughter, and rolled around
on the floor as they all slithered onto the table. She began snorting from all her laughter
and sat down on the chair, watching as all her slug friends slithered towards her, seemingly
attempting to slither faster though their movement was suspended as a slow little slug.
"Aha! Gotcha again, guys. What a great Halloween," she said, popping a candy corn into
her mouth.
