noticeboard wrote:the gates are closed once more.
- During your explorations you come across a large gate, rusted, chipped and cracked with age. When gently nudged open, it gives a horrible screech that serves as an announcement of your arrival onto what seems to be... a race track? Other baffled wolves similar to yourself were conversing in a spectator stand, most glad that the host of this event seemed to be of the overworld like themselves. Even for a wolf who still wasn't if the underworld yet, he was very odd. An orange pelt tickled with scales, slit pupils and a flickering forked tongue differentiated him from the wolves he now bowed to with a grin.
" Welcome one, welcome all. I can only be emmensely grateful for the turn out we've gotten so far! I can also assure to you are all in for a treat with this game, and maybe even a trick! " As you took a seat, you watched as he spread the wings that had been carefully folded behind his back, before turning to gesture to a large set of stables not too far away from the race track. " The challenge I propose to you here is this; to simply choose which of my lovely brethren you think will win a race. I have a delightful stash of red rubies to give away to the champions of any victor dragon; unless that dragon should choose not to give up its spoils at least! Sometimes they can get in a bad way, you see. I may also feel kind enough to give out compensation prizes should your dragon comes last. Now, I'd better get our first racers up and ready, eh? "
- Here at this booth, you can win rubies for picking a dragon from the selection chosen to race at that moment! I'll open the booth randomly during the day, and the rounds may last from 30 minutes to a couple of hours! I'll try my best to vary the time so those in different time zones can try their luck as well.
Rules:
-Only choose one dragon per round!
-Please don't post if the round isn't open! Make sure to check the notice board for when a round starts and ends, or my latest posts. I wont always post that a round has closed, so please check!
Rolling:
-I'll be using random.org as per usual. I roll for several things.
Mood: This is rolled out of 10. Sometimes the rewards gained can be affected by the host's mood, or the dragon's mood! This only happens occasionally, with a roll of 1 corresponding to the dragons, and 10 to the host. (Then I roll again if either's mood is affected. 5 and below is a bad mood, 6 and above is a good mood.)
Winner Dragon: This obviously is rolled out of how many dragons there were in the round.
Spoils/Rewards: Anyone who chose the winner dragon can receive from 10-20 rubies! On a normal day, that is.
Compensation: For those who didn't chose the winner, occasionally you'll get something anyway. A roll out of 10 decides, with 1 or 10 meaning that those who didn't choose a winner will get something, too.
Feel free to PM me with any questions/concerns!
