What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

Reason For His Name: From one of my most favorite books quartets, The Immortals, I chose Numair due in part to the softness of his coat, and his height. Numair is a favorite character of mine from the series, and I immediately thought of him when reading the competition request.

Reason For His Name: Dandelion is a bard character from the 'Witcher' series written by Andrzej Sapkowski. He is by far the best of the bards, the master of mintrels, a warrior of words, and the fabulous friend to Geralt, the White Wolf of Rivia. Even though he believes himself to be just as courageous as the witcher when following him into battle, he is in fact a huge softy and often finds himself in trouble when he does accompany geralt on one of his many dangerous contracts. However, Dandelion is ruthless when it comes to finding a good story to share with the people of the land. He takes his appearance and work very seriously and although slightly pompous and sarcastic as the dickens, he will do anything for his friends.

I think it fits because one: This splash reminds me of the magic that haunted Chaol; and two: It shows this horse can survive even the worse.

Ari is a soldier for a person called the Commander in a novel called Poison Study. When the main character was told to try elude the soldiers as a training session, he was the first to find her. After that they quickly became best friends and taught the main character defense. Ari reminds me of this character because he is quick witted, an expert swords man, and cares for people even though their past might be rocky.

He is a very well developed character and adapts well over the entire series. He is a character everyone can relate to and i just love him <3
