Mad Hatter- Melanie MartinezPersonality:
Cold-
Lady Mirabelle, a cold vampire indead, and it's not because her heart no longer beats. This cold female is cruel to any one who disobeys her, or even looks at her the wrong way. Although her undead heart is filled with hate, she is no evil tyrant queen. She is cruel with her punishments, and snaps at those who step out of line. How could she not? She's the queen after all, and what good is a queen if she's not ruling others, making them fear and respect her. Although cold, she rules her undead army and followers with the mindset of a mother who wants best- if you play with fire, expect to be burned- and with her punishments, comes an understanding and respect. She simply just punishes others with very little restraint
Stoic-
Do not expect a smile or a frown from this queen very often. She isn't a snob, raised to snub lower classes, but she was simply trying to protect herself. This young lady firmly believes that emotions could be someone's greatest weakness. Showing pleasure around the enemy could show them what makes you happy and destroy it after all. A long time ago, it was whispered among the younger, freshly bitten, that the queen feels no emotion, but the younglings quickly learned that wasn't true when she unleashed her wrath upon them- well, they learned at least one emotion from her. A few of those younglings became her most trusted guards after so, and have never disobeyed or talked bad about her ever again.
Motherly-
One wouldn't think that a stoic, cruel queen could ever become motherly, but that's exactly how this queen rules. She sees all of the underlings as one of her own offspring. Despite that, she will not spoil or sugar-coat any of her underlings. Like children, her underlings need to learn through trial and error, and if they mess up, she will punish them.
She does this only to the older of her underlings. She will baby her undead visclings, however. Whenever she holds an egg or a baby, she feels like her heart is beating for the first time. After the young ones are old enough to hunt for themselves, however, that's when she starts to treat them as the rest of the older ones- it would only be fair to treat them with the same respect as the rest of the hunting underlings. This queen wishes to someday be able to have a viscling of her own to one day take over the thrown, but she also wishes that her babies could forever be her babies to forever love them and care for them.
Lonely-
This young queen is just that- a young queen with no mate, lover, or children of her own. Sure, she rules an entire undead kingdom, but she wishes for more. She wishes for someone to love her uncodintionally, and whom she can actually show her true emotions of that of a young queen. She wants someone whom she can smile and dote on while not letting it get to their head, or to break her trust.
The Lady has no family, no friends, no anything, and despite being constantly surrounded, all she feels a lonely void eating up inside her.

Story:
Fire. Fire consumed every thing. The fire screamed of a thousand souls trying to escape the hellish spell that It's caster has released upon this mortal world.
It was then that the fire had transformed into a humanoid shape and smiled a dangerous grin, stroked her cheek in am almost lovingly way and then turned into smoke and ghosted it's way into her mouth, scorching her throat. She tried to scream, but no sound came out except for a dry gurgle, and she bursted into flames
The spell didn't say this was going to happen! The fire covered her, burning her alive. Mirabelle felt nothing but pain as she wished for death, but it never came. It was hours of silent screams , and of the feeling of her flesh melting, but it never did.
It was once the sun came up did the fire stopped, and left the young mistriss unconscious and sweating profusely.

Several hours and the young princess woke up, gasping for air. Her throat felt tight and dry. Water, she needed water. She got up, kicked over her spellcraft items and went down stairs, without even caring that she was still in her night gown, and ordered one of her servants to prepare breakfast and some water as soon as possible.
Princess Mirabelle had all but slammed her head onto the mahogany table. She felt so tired, but the spell had promised eternal life, energy, and success, all of the things that she needed when she is cornated to become the queen of her land, and she was desperate to fix it and get it out of its depression. Sure, it wasn't her first time performing magic, she was born with it, but she has never actually dealt with dark magic like that spell, but she was desperate to save her dying kingdom.
"My Lady, your breakfast is ready, and so is your is your outfit for today." The young maid made a deep bow in respect and placed Mirabelle's breakfast and water onto the table. "Thank you. You may go." Groaned the young queen-to-be. "Y-yes your Highness!" The young maid bowed again and hastily left. Mirabelle took her glass of water and sipped. 'Hmmmm she must be the new maid. She's nervous. That's probably why her her heart rate was so fast.'
Mirabelle spit out the water that wasn't quenching her thirst and turned her head and stared hard at the young maid walking away. 'How? How can I hear get heart beat? It's not possible!' Mirabelle quickly got up and ran to her chambers. She could hear the heartbeat of every guard and servant that she ran past, and it raised more questions than answers for this young princess, and only the spell book that she was using from last night's ritual had the answers that she was looking for.
'Just what spell did I cast last night?!' Mirabelle reached her room and saw that her book was still on the floor, just where she left it. She touched the book and it opened to the last page that she was on. The spell of eternal youth and success. She chose all the correct, her chanting was right, right? So where did it go wrong? What DID she do to herself? And why does she feel like her throat was being strangled?
She looked through the page and then looked closely at one sentence. Something wasn't quite right with the phrasing.... A smudge! Mirabelle wiped the smudge away and then realized her terrible mistake. She has completely made a new spell with just a small mistake and now she's cursed.
Mirabelle looked into a mirror and looked for any clues as to what happened to her. She looked deep into her eyes, and a flash of power rippled through the mirror, at least she can sense the power of longevity and success flow through her. She smiled and then gasped at the sight. Her canines looked different, much sharper than usual. She took her paw to her canine and it grew even longer and sharper, cutting her paw.
"Ouch!" She sucked on the wound and moaned. Not only did the blood from the cut taste good, but the strain on her throat loosen up. "Just what did I do to myself..." Mirabelle mumbled to herself. She looked down at the finger and noticed that it was still bleeding, but the color of her blood was different- it was silver.
She had barely the time to take in everything when her name was called by her sister. 'Deidre! What will she think of me? She will call me a monster!' Then the firery figure from last night came back as a small wisp came forth from her heart. "Who cares, my queen? Only you, your power, and and your ability to change your kingdom for the good matters." Said the smiling wisp. "Wha- who are you?!" Mirabelle gaped in confusion.
The wisp danced in pleasure at Mirabelle's reaction. "Why, my queen, I am you guide of the occult, and a part of your magic's soul. And to your wondering of to what YOU are, you're now a vampire. The first of your kind! What an exciting adventure you'll have!" The wisp excitedly danced then kisses Mirabelle's cheek, leaving her cheek hot and red.

This is how Mirabelle became the vampire queen, and the start of her rebirth into the person she is today.
