theodore was messing around, doing online shopping for Christmas since he felt pressured to do so by all his older relatives. he stumbled across this funny little pin while doing his shopping and absolutely fell in love with it. he remembered the old, grey scarf he had gotten for his 17th birthday that was boring and bland and really hand no significance to him except as something to keep him warm. he clicked buy on the website and quickly put his information in, awaiting the arrival of his first pin. when it finally arrived, he rushed up stairs with the box, ripping it open and carefully taking out the cold metal pin. he took the back off and put the sharp point through the thick fabric of the scarf. after fastening the back he held his scarf out and admired it. it no longer looked dull and incomplete thanks to this little moon pin.

patrick and his friend were waiting in line to get into a guns and roses concert. they moved a few inches and then came to a halt with the line. theodore sighed and checked his phone absentmindedly. "excuse me!" he heard a voice call from beside him and he looked up. a short kalon had a ominous looking bag with her and she was smiling at him and his friend. "would you like to buy something from me? i'm handing out hand made trinkets." she said. "i uh...." he paused to think for a moment. he didn't want to offend her but she was probably selling something shady and he was a little anxious. "do you have enamel pins?" he asked. "oh you bet i do!" she said, reaching in and pulling out a random handful. she held her hand out flat and theodore looked through them. "dude this is pretty shady." his friend whispered. "i want this one." he declared, holding up a little milk carton. "15 dollars!" she said. he shoved his money in her hand and she walked away, looking content. "dude she ripped you off!" but theodore ignored him and fastened the pin on his scarf.

theodore got this pin when he flew out to chicago to see hamilton the broadway musical. he waited in line at the merch stand for many minutes, getting extremely sweaty and flustered in the process. when he finally got up to the front of the line he knew what he wanted. the enamel pin. he rubbed his hands and asked the lady working at the stand and he held his breath in anticipation as she got him the little package with the small pin. we smiled gratefully and handed her cash. he fastened the pin on his scarf as he was walking to his seat to watch the show.
