Picture: HerePersonality: Firstly, Zephyrus is a very practical stallion. He does what needs to be done and doesn't like to sit idly by. He rarely complains about doing anything asked of him and believes in taking full responsibility for your actions. Rarely will he let anyone get away with anything. He's also very down-to-earth, not letting any attention he get go to his head.
Secondly, Zephyrus is very sarcastic and truthful. He will tell you how it is, harsh or not as he thinks that is the best way, and expects you to do the same to him. He likes to tease and make fun of his fellow horses, but rarely means harm to anyone. Honestly, the more he teases you, the more he probably likes you. However, Zephyrus is not the most social person. He's is a very quiet, perceptive stallion. He'd rather watch and listen then talk. He hates being the center of attention and tries to avoid it at all times. It can be hard to try and talk to Zephyrus as he'll just sit, listen and barely respond.

However, this can be good sometimes as he's always someone you can just rant to if you need it. When he does speak though, he actually has some very interesting thoughts. Zephyrus is also a sweet stallion. He loves all his herd mates dearly (maybe more than others) and actually enjoys spending time with them, even if he seems like an introvert. He's very gentlemanly and an excellent runner because of his build.
Along with all these good things however, Zephyrus is a bit stoic, having trouble showing his feelings. He doesn't like to speak about himself which can make others suspicious of him and it also gives him an air of coldness. He is also a complete workaholic. He never takes a break. Finally, he's not very easy to be in a relationship with because he has a nasty habit of keeping secrets when they ought not to be kept and he's not someone to gush over with feelings so it can seem he doesn't care when he really does.
Theme Song: Fix you by Coldplay.
History: Zephyrus was always destined for a great life. His Dam was a chariot horse of Zeus, his Sire was the famous Pegasus. His entire life was extremely easy and cushy. Everyone loved him and wanted to be near him because he absolutely
radiated peace and serenity. No one ever wanted to anger him, and gave him everything he could ever want, but he didn't let it go to his head. In fact, he wished someone
would oppose him once in a while. Everyone adored him. No one ever snipped at him. He felt like he was constantly being babied,

and he got tired of it really quickly. All he wanted was peace and quiet (ironic much?), but he was always crowded around the minute he stepped outside his stall.
His parents seemed to sense this, especially his Dam. She went to Zeus about it. "Please, my Lord, we must do something. He can barely set one foot outside without being mobbed. We need to get him out of Olympus." She pleaded. "Very well, although I will miss his evening walks through my palace. Hypnosus himself couldn't make me any more relaxed."
"My Lord."
"Right, sorry. I have a brilliant idea. Send of Ares and that personification of War."
"Aithon? You want AITHON? Here?"
"Yes, yes. Go fetch them. In fact, just call a Concil meeting. There's a few other matters to discuss."
When Zephyrus was told by his mother that he was to attend a Council meeting, he was less than pleased. That meant he was going to be swarmed with horses and Gods alike, all wanting to touch him or get a blessing. He tried to talk his Dam into letting him stay home, but she was being oddly firm about this one. Usually, she'd give up on trying to get him out and about

after a few minutes, but she wouldn't give in this time. So, gloomily, Zephyrus trudged to the Council Hall, and, as he suspected, was immediately surrounded by horses. He could barely even see the entrance through which the other Olympians came, but he did catch a glimpse of something red pass through.
Only a moment later, a large, muscular stallion burst through the crowd. Everyone seemed to instinctively move away from this stallion, and Zephyrus found out why very quickly. He was an intimidatingly handsome stallion, who looked to be about a year younger than the angelic stallion. He was stunning with a black and red coat fiery coat, two curled horns like a ram, and what made Zephyrus most interested: a living coat. But this stallion's living horse wasn't serene like his. It was a horrible winged demon that, when you looked at it, gave you images of bloody, gory battles and all the unspeakable gruesomeness of war. It was so terrifying, addictingly so for Zephyrus, who had never even been a drop scared before. For a moment, Zephyrus couldn't move, but it was really only in wonderment than in fear. It was so new, and strange, and cool! Suddenly, the the magic was broken when the fiery stallion spoke. "Hey, idiot, your coat almost caused me to release War. So, if you value your precious peace, that can not happen again." He shouted at Zephyrus. The stallion looked at him with confusion. He hadn't expected to hear someone be so outrightly rude.

That just didn't happen to him usually. "Im so sorry about that. I'll try not to let my wonderful-ness overwhelm you again. Who are you?" He asked, with a bit of sarcasm. Aithon sneered, walking up to the golden stallion menacingly. The others moved back, scared, but curious. That gave Zephyrus a slight sense of awe. He wished he could make people run in the opposite direction when he walked.
"I'm the personification of War, the one that keeps your happy, peaceful self safe." The flame-like stallion replied snarkily. That jarred his memory. He was told about this guy before! He knew he was supposed to be arrogant, but he hadn't known what that truly sounded like, and he wasn't about to let the stallion get away with it.
"Ah. I've heard about you. Aithon, the one with anger issues, right?" He shot back.
"And you are?"
"Zephyrus. Son of Pegasus and the personification of Peace and Hope." He pronounced with pride.
"Oh, so your Mr. Feel-good." The two stallions stared at each other, daggers shooting from their gazes. Never had Zephyrus been challenged like this. He loved it, but he also hated how arrogant this...this Aithon was. Who did he think he was? He did have to admit, however, that he enjoyed the weird feeling he got off the stallion, and the fact that he could ward off others just by moving. Suddenly, the gong sounded, meaning the beginning of the Council Meeting.

The two stallions parted to their respective sides of the room, but continued to glare at each other. However, both looked at Zeus when he called their names loudly.
"Did either of you hear me?" He asked.
"My apologies, you Majesty, but I'm afraid-""No." Zephyrus shot Aithon a warning glance. Unless you wanted a thunderbolt to the face, you did NOT talk to Zeus that way. The Lord of the Sky sighed, mumbling something under his breath before continuing.
"Well, if you would stop glaring at each other for a second, I have a very important assignment for each of you." This truly caught the stallions' attentions. They looked up at the God with interest.
"With Ares's consent, I have decided to have Zephyrus monitor and watch over Aithon at all times. You will both live together on earth until Aithon has confidently overcome his demon."Bu- "Bu-""There's no use arguing. The decision is final!"Closest Friend: Aithon. Over time, these two learn to appreciate each other. They're like fire and ice, they balance each other perfectly. Aithon's battle on War gives Zephyrus something to do, and his ora feels so refreshing compared to everyone else around. Neither would ever admit it, but they care deeply about the other and would do anything to protect their other half.
Least Liked Herd Mate: Deliquese. He finds her exceedingly complain-y and prima donna-like behavior extremely annoying. She always wants to be the center of attention, but not in a amusing way like Aithon.

She's always whining and constantly talks his ear off. He wishes she'd just
shut up once in a while.
