Y'ok, Sorry on delay qvq/
I read through all the facts, I judged mainly one ones I personally have never heard before (as I am a fan of research and love learning so many of these i'd stumbled across before so they weren't new to me), and ones that were entertaining or interesting, I did verify all of the winning facts and included sources for those who might find them interesting too!
There were a LOT of entries so I had to narrow these down to my favorites QAQ/ sorry
In the end I have decided this one will go to~
hopgoatAs I found your name to be interesting/creative throwin to the design itself, and I really loved the fact that you'd provided- as its something that seems terribly obvious-but not often considered. It also brings up a lot of interesting questions to me, as to whether or not a dragonfly might overheat that way? How long would that last? Very intriguing.
Animal fact;; Like all insects, dragonflies are technically ectotherms (that is, an animal that is dependent on external sources of body heat). However, it is possible for dragonflies that patrol (fly back and forth, versus those that tend to perch) to undergo thermoregulation! They will fire up their wings, using a rapid whirring movement to warm up their bodies and therefore, their internal body temperature.

StormwardenBecause your fact was something I hadn't heard-plus the joke made me laugh
Most bees buzz in the key of A unless they are tired, which is when they buzz in the key of E. That is, unless you smack them with a flyswatter, then it's B flat.
Some further information on this I was able to find- Nexus -For relation to the design itself (Plus it was a cool fact!)
The color of the shell on a pink fairy armadillo can actually change depending on the environment in which the animal is put in. Based on the environment, irrigation of blood into the blood vessels can actually increase or decrease and lead to change in it's color. Rainbow fairy armadillo! ;D
Some further infoavarii ;Because the fact was cute and I hadn't heard about it before!
Animal fact;; a Great Pyrenees dog by the name of Duke was elected the mayor of

tsumugiAs I do love alligators but never knew this!
Alligators have no definitive lifespan! They don't age naturally like we and most other animals do, and they'll actually live forever until they get a disease or injury.
