I haven't made a main adopt in a while !
So here's a little something: I took inspiration from various butterflies, birds, and fish, as well as
The Occamy, from Fantastic Beasts.

This will be a contest exclusive for Non-owner entrants !
Though feel free to mark if you'd like to watch.

This Kalon was made to celebrate this time, last year, how I won my first Kalon !
It was Ocha; she is still with me and still my most favourite Kalon. It's odd really, how
it's been a year already.

I'd like to see more people gain a first Kalon, so this little fella was made to give all non-owners
a chance, like me a year ago.

*The fur and tail are cut and styled to almost replicate feathers and plumage ! It is still just
fur to the touch. Some parts are also just elements of the design.

This competition will be a shine design contest ! This Kalon feels worthy of a shine that is
magnificent and flows well with their design.

However, there is to be no artwork in the contest this time around ! You will need to write a descriptive
piece of text, telling us what the shape of the shine is, as well as the colours, as well as perhaps a little
insight on how this Kalon feels about their shine ! Are they fond of it ? Or do they try to hide it ? Maybe they
are a bit of a show-off ? Tell me why ! <33

{ kalon's shine } - A purple and blue dragonfly. The body is a teal color (second from the top on the left), while the base of the wings is a more purple color. (top left) Lily really likes her shine as she views it as a badge to show her love of bugs. It's often her first conversation piece with strangers, so she can try to find others that like bugs as well. Ladybugs are her actual favorite bug, but dragonflies are a close second.

Mursettla walked around the spring very annoyed. Her plant that she was going to eat latter was gone how great was that! She sighed as she walked about a grassland prairie full of light purple and pink lupine. She never really ate flowers, but there was this on standing out to her. It wasn't a lupin, but it was a different type of flower, one that reminded you of a purple and blue morning glory. She bent down and put the flower behind her ear and kept it as a accessory. It would never rott. Looking around she finally found a good eating ground where she could graze. She never really ate insects, so that's why she ate plants.
(Ugh I might change later...)

{ kalon's shine } - Two long pink-to-purple crystals, with segments and reflective sides, -----sprouting from a base of blue-grey, weather-worn rock.

Connor loves his shine- being rather spiritual, he believes in healing and mindfulness through relaxation and simplicity. Precious stones play a huge part in this, and are widely considered to have healing powers by Connor and others who share his passion. When Connor isn't at his best, he consults his shine- not that he thinks it knows, simply because he feels that it helps him escape whatever is troubling him. He takes pride in his shine, and often thinks about how fortunate he is to have a shine that he thinks reflects him, and how special it is to be able to have a shine that is both stunning and simple.

Connor got his shine as he started to become interested in the concept of mental and physical wellbeing. He started to study and understand more about religion and the parts it plays psychologically in kalons lives. When his shine appeared, he took it as a sign, to persue what he enjoyed and help others find themselves through a shared love of nature and peace. Connor often shows those interested his shine and explains that their shines will play a part in who they are, too. He tells other Kalons fondly of his story and how he hadn't found himself before he gained his shine- it's that simple. You must find yourself to be at peace.

{ kalon's shine } - Yume's shine can be found on the bottom side of his tail. He wishes it was somewhere noticeable for he loves to show off and brag to others. His shine is shaped as a pearly lavender swan like creature. He adores it more than anything. He cleans it as much as he can and makes sure to show it off to all who cross his path. Even though its odd to everyone else when he lifts his tail.

{ kalon's shine } - ayala's shine, found on the top her tail, takes the form of a butterfly with long tails extending from each hindwing and is the same in color as the bright, feathery markings on her back. the wings of the shine are a luminous indigo color with gradient markings of pink and purple, while the tails and outer edges of the shine fade from the indigo color, to deep, midnight blue, and finally to the same dark - almost black - purple on her face and paw pads. ayala's shine is very important to her, as she finds it quite magnificent to look at and show off to others. she also sees her shine as a symbol of triumph; at one point, ayala was petrified of moths and butterflies, so being able to now look at her shine and feel not just fine, but prideful and happy, is huge to her. some kalons, of course, think she takes her love for her shine a bit to the extreme - going through the effort of styling her fur after it - but ayala is content with herself and doesn't really mind if others find her a bit odd for it.

Vanity is no friend to Imogen, but she should be. They are a elegant creature who shimmers from head to toe, but perhaps what is most noticeable is how their tail seems to almost... sparkle. The shines upon their fur are small iridescent flecks, tucked in to where they almost appear to be small scales. They're most heavy at the base, but still blend throughout the top and middle of the tail. In the moonlight they may also be compared to little stars in a galaxy of beauty. A beauty Imogen does not address nor flaunt, but one they hold close to their heart instead. Close as they believe each speck represents someone important, though they never tell the stories of who.
