What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

Any and All new community members: Wow, you guys are awesome! I'm still technically green, and believe me, getting started is difficult. You'll find your way and soon be the owner of several Khims, from common to very rare.
The community as a whole: The whole Khim community is such a welcome place. I've never felt more at home on the internet ever. You never discriminate, and all concerns are dealt with appropriately. You're kind to everyone, and never cease to amaze me with your open arms and kindness.

Best Friend: Ethan's best friend is Dap. Ethan admires Dap as a fellow fanboy and so much more. The two were fast friends from the beginning, but have quickly bonded over not only their love of video games and movies, but their loves of the paranormal. While Dap specializes more in wizards and enchanters, the two's vast knowledge of the mystic combines to make an unstoppable team. Dap and Ethan are almost inseparable.

Personality:
One is a horse that was chosen by the Gods. He is unusual in his appearance, his name, and his personality. He is hyper intelligent, almost scarily so, and seems to have more knowledge of humans and the world around him than any natural horse would usually have. He is indeed though, a natural horse, and takes great pride in his knowing and understanding. He doesn't let it on, and does not use it for gain or having a hoof over anyone. He is a kind and gentle stallion, who is a bit of a 'father' to some of the other younger horses.

He is mysterious, and quiet, and very obedient- he takes orders quite well. You do get the impression that he is merely following orders by his choice, and in fact, he seems to be doing you a service letting you work with him. Once a month, he disappears, on the eve of the full moon, and though no one knows exactly where he goes, one or two of those at the stables have seen him wander off into the forest on the edge of the estate, and return before the first light of the next morning.

Nice things about the Community Members:

I could comment on everyone individually, but that's been done a few times recently, and I would prefer not to sound like a broken record, or take away the meaning of the words by commenting them over again and again. The community as a whole though, is amazing, and everyone is so welcoming and helpful and generous. The amount of effort and thought that goes into the horses by the artists is amazing, and with the wide variety of colors and patterns, the styles of each and every one of you is amazingly beautiful. All the staff are helpful and answer questions readily, and are more than happy to welcome new people to Khims and the adopt as a whole.
The streams are so awesome- the methods with which the adopt is run are quite transparent and open, and that makes the adopt unique. Everyone is so generous with slots, breedings and sharing their resources, and I am thankful everyday that I found Khims.

There was a touch of some sort of energy in the air. Serenity lifted her head, safe in the grotto she had picked to have her foal within. It was tightly enclosed, surrounded by trees and bushes, hidden from any unsafe, prying eyes. There was something about the moon- the shadows that were cast by the forest that triggered all her senses, and she knew that somehow, tonight would be the night.
As a wolf howled in the distance, and a great buck passed by silently, the mare, heavy and tired, lay down and gave birth to the horse that the Gods had chosen. Marked with the wisdom and spirit of nature, painted in the coat of the king of the forest, the colt was strong and standing within an hour of birth, his bright red eyes swimming with a hidden knowledge- he was set to become the guardian of those who called the natural area home, and make sure that the balance of the forest was kept in check and harmonious.
Serenity taught her son how to read the signals of the wind, the movement of the animals, and the calls of the living around them. He learned to navigate by stars, navigate by rivers and streams and find homes for the creatures that need them. He grew into a fine young horse, and when his mother disappeared one night, blending into the moonlight and never to be seen again, he knew it was time to move on.
With the appearance of a uniquely colored natural horse, Verse chose a stable and estate nearby where he knew he would be appreciated and aided, and could follow his chosen path at the same time as being, plain and simply, an equine.
