Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

What is their most prized possession?: The obvious answer is Yukio's friends, of course! Aside from them, though, Yuki finds special attachment to a small scalemaille bag that was given to him by his father. The bag reminds him of helping his father shape the scales that line the chainmaille. Inside, various trinkets from their adventures together rattle against the metal. A small pebble from a river adventure. A few coins from vacations. But it's the bag itself that symbolizes the journey.

Ainsley's most prized possession is a small, black and silver clown music box. The small crying clown rotates hypnotically to its soft tune. This music box was placed on her mothers stomach while she was pregnant with Ainsley and growing up it was a huge comfort. To this day, the small clown helps her fall asleep when she's awakened by nightmares.

What is their most prized possession?: her most prized possession is a little locket, the ordinary heart kind. it looks a bit different, mostly because she and her mom colored it a pastel pink with darker pink and white spots. on the inside, it has the same colors but with a picture of her whole family. it was given to her by her mother when she was about thirteen. she got it when she was diagnosed with depression, and the only thing that made her feel better was the color pink. her depression has passed now, and she's worn her locket every day just in case.

amber's most prized possession is her first gold gymnastic's medal. she has it on her highest shelf in her room by itself so she can show it off. it reminds her of her childhood, she was the best kit gymnast around. no other kit could ever beat her. it also gives her hope that one day she'll be able to join the olympics! it also reminds her that's she's a great gymnast and should be proud of herself as it's her greatest talent.
