Connections. The powerful feeling of being able to connect with
another being is really important to Sonder.She gets chills from
the little things, like looking up at the sky and marveling at how small
everyone is but what great an impact they can have. She loves anything
that makes her feel closer to the earth, and she finds peace yoga and
meditation with candles outside under the starlet sky. Part of her love
for connections relates to her love for the world. She knows that earth
is far from perfect, but loves each and everyflaw for what it is. It's a
obstacle for everyone to overcome, and there's always a light

Would you believe that Pire loves Earth's bugs? This kal came from a small planet that who regularly dropped below freezing and few creatures, especially not bugs, could survive. Earth's excessive life is a stark contrast to her snowy home and Pire loves the thought that there is always some sort of being near her minding its own business. Bees and butterflies to cockroaches and fruit flies, Pire loves them all. She doesn't quite see why other Kals see them as pests. Pire will catche and frees any trapped bugs she finds and keeps quite a few as pets. With time on earth, she may start to understand why ants in your fruit bowl is not pleasant and learn to stop bringing spiders into her housemate's bedroom.

what's their favourite thing about living on earth?: Crystals. Shinning and glimmering, each so unique and beautiful. It reminds her of her native homes waters. The waters of her planet are reflect much more than any other liquids in her galaxy. At night, the stars reflect in the water surface of their oceans. She remembers sitting there with her brother. The crystals remind her of that night, and how even though things seem to change, it always stays the same.


Her favorite jewel is opals. They never stay one colour, they are always different each time you look at them. The way their carry all the colours of the world in the little space they have simply fills her with wonder. She tends to wear jewelry with it opals in it. what's their favourite thing about living on earth?: "I love looking up at the sky and visualising how I'm actually standing on the surface of a very large sphere, and the sky is really this huge fluid ocean of gases that I'm standing at the bottom of. Just thinking about the reality of planet earth, how everything works together and how I'm part of it all, it makes me feel really small, like my problems are insignificant in the grand scheme of the universe. And I love taking in a deep breath and feeling it entering my lungs and knowing that I'm alive.

It's also really cool to go outside at night and look up at the stars and think about how they're really these massive giants in space with just an unimaginable amount of distance between, or even right before night when the sun is setting and you can see just the most gorgeous hues of pink and purple and orange that you will ever see.
