Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

My first kalon as an official artist! There were some complications with my GA trial, but now that it's all sorted out I can post adopts again!!

I'm sure most of you will be busy with the event going on, so this will be a simple competition; Tell me what they think about other kalons in 200 words or less. Ends June 29th at 7:00 PM PST.

Karimir is a bit shy around other kalons, but normally gets along with them pretty well. He is a very forgiving kalon and no matter what you do to him, it's unlikely that he will leave you. He might not have the best past, but he work around it and get along well with others.

what do they think about other kalons?
Other kalons are a hindrance. They keep him from reaching his full potential, and they are always finding themselves in places where they shouldn't be. Their thought patterns are clumsy and inefficient. They are amused and awed by the simplest things. He finds them foolish, and they should stay out of his way. However, he needs a few of those fools around him so that he can show off... and so they can validate his brilliance. After all, if you say something remarkable and no one is there to hear it, did you even say it at all?

What do they think about other kalons?

Cira sees good in all people, bad or good. She believes that deep down below, in every heart, there is kindness.
"Sometimes you just have just have to chip away more of the bad stuff than in others to find a heart of gold." Though, sometimes, she gets confused.
"Why would kalons act so cruel, so mean, so snobby on the outside, if deep down below, we're all the same flesh and blood? We're all stuck on this one tiny planet inside a galaxy among thousands, and well, none of us can really leave, can we? Why hold grudges against people for maybe knocking that lunch tray, or telling you that bad thing about yourself. So? Yeah, they're mean, on the outside. But you don't know what they're like on the inside, do you? Besides, why hate them and be rude to them, if they hate you and are rude to you. Wouldn't that just make you the same way as them?"
She ponders her thoughts for hours and hours on end, but sometimes, she just gives up. Her thinking might not be entirely the same as your standards, but she'll fight for what she believes, with words.

raziel keeps his distance from other kals. though, it doesn't mean he hates others.
believe it or not, he has the utmost respect for other kalons. he honestly cares for his kind to
the point he feels the need to guard and protect them, but raziel's mysterious and and
untrustworthy qualities keeps him at a distance.
