Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

Name meaning: from the Japanese language meaning "dignified, severe, cold." I got the name from one of my favorite anime shows, Ao no Exorcist (or Blue Exocrist). Rin is the main character who looks much like this Kalon.
Personality: Rin is a wild child. He's a bit withdrawn, but loves his friends dearly. He doesn't trust easily, has quite the temper, and prefers the company of only a few. He is proud and takes life very seriously, but cannot help getting into all sorts of shenanigans. He hates it when others worry about him, but also cares deeply for the few he loves. When it comes to children, he has no idea what to do. It's actually quite funny to watch him attempt to interact with them. Rin has no issue starting a scuffle with a grown Kalon, but wouldn't dare hurt a child. Underneath his hard, cold shell, Rin is a goofball. He is confused, witty, and so not funny it makes him hilarious.

He's a rapper and is often writing songs in his songbook when he isn't after one girl or another.
