Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

My first kalon as a GA. Kind of a fire lion design, with Altean markings.

Feu's talent is writing poetry

Although she does struggle a lot sometimes,
and wishes she could just give up most of the time,
the outcomes of her hard work are always beautiful.

What is their secret talent?: doing other things while ice skating - not ice skating itself though, he's bad at that

Jaromír had never been skilled at ice skating. Despite this, he was passionate about this hobby and went with his friends whenever he had a chance. On one of these visits to the local ice rink, he had brought his new phone-- it was the first time he'd ever had a phone of his own, as he was still young, but seeing as all his other friends had been given the newly-released gadget from family members, he'd practically begged his parents for one as well-- not that he'd ever admit it-- and finally got one for his birthday.

It was a stupid idea to take it out while skating, as Jaromír tended to be on the clumsy side, but when he heard the loud ding! of a received text, he didn't even hesitate to take it out and reply while still on the ice and skating fairly fast as compared to his regular pace.

"Woah! How did you do that?" One of his friends was bewildered at this. "I broke my phone last time I tried that!"

"What do you mean? Did I do something?"

"Texting while skating? You can hardly skate without holding on to the wall, how are you able to text while doing that?"

After this discovery of his special "talent", Jaromír began to experiment by skating while doing other things. At first it started off fairly simple, but he began to try more and more outlandish things. He started with playing games on his phone while skating; then sewing, knitting, and even playing ukelele. To this day, it's something he and his friends joke about, but he will always appreciate having this unusual talent.

for someone who is awfully reserved and prefers keeping to herself than talking with her peers, kyandi is incredibly skilled at getting her point across. with a rehearsed speech, she becomes incredibly charismatic, often surprising those who know her and charming the crowd. she is easily competitive, as well; she puts a great amount of knowledge and effort into what she writes, adding her own twist of humor when she can... all to be the best. she is a skilled writer and even more skilled speaker, a winner of several public speaking competitions.

outside of her speeches, her eccentricity makes her difficult to approach. she doesn't bother with people often, usually sticking her nose in complicated books or perhaps writing speeches or short stories. most others tend to avoid her, which she prefers, as she finds it easier and more interesting to study her peers from afar.

she doesn't let little things get in her way, in fact using obstacles to her advantage when she can. she strives to be the best at what she does, and doesn't settle for being second best when it comes to her writing.

her dream is to become a famous motivational speaker. while she is far from perfect as of now, she knows that through hard work and perseverance, she will be able to do anything.
