Inferno looked up to the darkening sky. The sun steadily climbed down and behind the soaring hills. A flock of swallows dotted the canvas of the twilight.
The sun had disappeared, and the moon had begun it's hike through the near-silent night. Inferno stretched his wings, and took off through the starry skies. He embraced the rush of crisp air between his feathers, and world rushing by, far below. He swooped and dived, sometimes soaring high, sometimes rushing through the forest.
When he came down to land in a massive oak, he let a out a cry, that echoed through the forest, so everyone who heard knew, he was king of the skies.
