Funny story... I missed the memo that I was allowed to post main thread adopts. Like, back in January. So you'll be seeing more of me around here from now on

So here's a simple, yet not simple lass for you all. Even though it was just easter, she looks like she was meant for valentine's day... That lace took me about three tries and I love how it turned out.

When I see lace, I think of grandma's house with lace, doilies, Lord's prayers galore! So to try for this viscet, tell me what it's favorite part about going to grandma's house is!! Please stick to the base form.

I haven't seen my Paternal grandmother since I was about 7 ( almost 7 years.) so my Maternal Grandmother is the go-to. My favorite part about going to her house is probably the time we get together. We've gone on a few wacky rides. One story was we had our regular little "girls day" and we went to the mall. Apparently, they had opened a reptile zoo inside of it. We walk in and went on a tour around it, there was a 120 year old war torn tortoise, one of the last albino chameleons in the world, and many odd snakes. At the end, there was a free photo shoot with a snake and I thought it would be a small milk snake or something until they brought out "Popcorn". Popcorn was a 7 ft long Boa Constrictor who was to be set around my neck for the photo. It was tightening around my neck during the photo and I was absolutely terrified in the photo. My mother had a panic attack when she saw the photo and got very angry but hey, not many people can say they had a boa constrictor around their neck!
Moral of the story is, my grandparents may not be the best at choosing an appropriate timing to do something ( or for instance the time she gave me a wine topper thinking I'd like it, for Christmas it was a good laugh throughout our home) but they make me have a good time. So my favorite thing to do at my grandmothers house is to hang out with her

Not so much a grandmother but a mother none the less.Her motherly grandmother is named Shibia.A very kind but stubborn woman who owns the only lodge in the her small alas kin village.She had met her when walking through town as a young one.She would always follow shibia silently through her walk to the market until finally Shibia had enough of her following.She invited Jesse inside to her place.She had always loved it inside the cozy cabin.The smell of the roaring fire,and the taste of sweet candy on her tongue at all times.As she got older the two became closer.And jesse more inner passions flourished in Shibia's quiet little lodge.After learning how to manage the place as shibia once did she had become in love with the business just as much as her guardian did.

Favorite part about going to Grandmas: Dentelle loves to go to grandmas house, because of all the big comfy, dirty brown coloured couch she owns. It makes her feel like she's about to get eaten alive by it because it's so comfortable!
One day she decided that when grandma had her back turned, she would hide inside the couche's giant cushions. She didn't have much trouble due to the fact that the couc cushions were very comfy an you coul sink in them by falling asleep! Once she was inside the couche's 'stomach', she was in such a nice and warm little cavern that she fell asleep! She woke up only when she felt something press down on her makin her yelp. It was only her grandma sitting down on the couch. Pushin herself out of between the couch cushions, Dentelle, explained what had happened to her grandma and they laughed for a good 10 minutes about it.
Ever since, Dentelle loves to go napping in between the cushions of grandmas big, comfy, dirty brown coloured couch. Which also turns ou to be her favorite hide and seek spot!

Rasberry has always loved going to her Grandma's house.
Just the idea of doilies, cookies just pulled out of the oven, and warm hugs make her day even brighter.
Everything is so cheerful, bright, exciting, and new there.
Each summer was filled with precious memories of eating outside on the concrete table.
But she loved nothing more than talking with the wise Viscet that she has come to know, love, and respect.
Along the way, there may have been holes but through family, she has been pulled out of the dark pit and now she is seeing sunshine.
The summer never lost it's zing, as long as there was laughter and love flowing through the breeze.
Time seems to stop as the smell of summer, perfume, and pollen fills her lungs.
Each breath is as fresh as the last - it calms, cools, and energizes us to our fullest.
Just the thought of green grass and a field covered with flowers clears her once - worried mind.
Grandma never left her mind as the sun shone through the thick trees and blooming flowers.
What once was a meeting is now a strong bond that no one and nothing can break.
As the years rolled by nothing changed as she visited the foundest place of her childhood memories.
