Picture one: Shows the ridge on its back
Picture two:Shows how big they are

Information About Your Recommended Dog Breed:
The Rhodesian Ridgeback originates from South Africa in the country that is now called Zimbabwe. These dogs were bred to help hunters track and kill lions. They where also used as protection in the villages against other people but mostly against wildlife. They where also used for everyday hunting to put food on the table. These dogs are called Rhodesian Ridgebacks because the area that is now called Zimbabwe used to be called Rhodisa and the second half of the name comes from the ridge of fur that follows their spine. What makes this fur stand out against the rest is that is grows in the opposite direction of the rest of the fur on their body. These dogs are known to be strong, tough and aggressive towards outsiders but towards their family they are caring, loving and protective. They make great pets if you are an active person that likes to run, hike or do competitions like agility.

Information About Your Recommended Dog Breed:

Short Version:
Life span: 14 – 16 years
Temperament: Protective, Gentle, Loyal, Friendly, Active, Intelligent
Height: Male: 22–24 inches (56–61 cm), Female: 20–22 inches (51–56 cm)
Colors: White, Sable & White, Sable Merle, Tri-color, Sable, Blue Merle
Weight: Male: 45–65 lbs (20–29 kg), Female: 40–55 lbs (18–25 kg)

Written Verison:
History:
-Rough Collies are thought to be the descendants of an ancient breed the Romans bought with them when they invaded England in 50 BC and of breeds that were native to Scotland in times long past. It is thought these handsome dogs were named after a breed of sheep called Colleys they worked that were bred in Scotland's lowlands
Appearance:
-The Rough Collie is a very beautiful looking dog and one that boasts having a tremendous amount of dignity and elegance. Their heads are nicely in proportion with their bodies, being finely chiselled and wedge-shaped which adds to a dog's graceful appearance. They have flat skulls and well rounded, blunt muzzles which taper smoothly from a dog's ears to the tip of their black noses. When it comes to their coat, the Rough Collie boasts having a very thick, straight and coarse to the touch outer coat with a much softer and very close undercoat.
Temperament:
-The Rough Collie is an extremely well-balanced and even-tempered dog which is why they have consistently remained one of the most popular family pets and companions with people the world over. A Rough Collie is never happier than when they know their place in the pack and who they can look to for direction and guidance. Rough Collies form strong ties with their owners and as such they do not like being left on their own for any length of time.
Intelligence:
-The Rough Collie is a smart dog and a fast learner. Their training also has to be consistent and always fair throughout a dog’s life so they understand what owners expect of them. They excel at many canine sports which includes activities like flyball, agility and obedience because they thrive on the attention they are given during their training and the one-to-one contact when they are competing with their handlers. They do not answer well to harsh correction or any sort of heavy handed training methods, but they do respond extremely well to positive reinforcement which always brings the best out of these intelligent and quick witted dogs, especially when there are high value rewards involved.

(I actually have a Shetland Sheepdog named Bambi. Which is a mini version of the Rough Collie <3 Hes a hyper active boy an super lovable. From the park today (:)

Picture of Your Recommended Dog Breed: The Korean Jindo
Information About Your Recommended Dog Breed:
It originated in the jindo island in Korea.
Coat colors include red fawn, white, black, black and tan, wolf grey and brindle. The undercoat is light in color.
The Korean Jindo Dog is a breed of hunting dog that originated on Jindo Island in South Korea. Brought to the United States with South Korean expatriates, it is celebrated in its native land for its fierce loyalty and brave nature. The Jindo breed became recognized by the United Kennel Club on January 1, 1998 and by the Fédération Cynologique Internationale in 2005.

Appearance:
Jindos are double-coated spitz-type dogs. The Jindo Gae is the National Breed of Korea. Distinguishing the Jindo breed from mixes and other breeds is often done by close examination of cranial and facial features and by analyzing the proportion of the head to the body. In addition, the breed exhibits sexual dimorphism with females having more angular heads than males. The keen and alert appearance of the Jindo gives the impression of intelligence, strength, and agility. Other features include fully perked ears and a smooth coat.

Temperament:
The Korean Jindo Dog is well known for its unwavering loyalty and gentle nature. They are of medium to high energy. They make great house dogs as long as they are given good mental and physical stimulation (i.e. plenty of on-leash walks), however they are not typically suited to dog park environments. Jindo dogs need reasonable space to roam and run but this can be accommodated through consistent walks. Jindos require a lot of care and attention. If kept in a yard, the fencing must be at least 6 feet high due to their strong hind legs that enable them to jump high.

Winner! I really like this breed! They kind of remind me of Shiba Inus. Both appearance and personality wise, although it seems that some tend to be a bit aggressive? I read up on them and it seems that they can either be the best dog or the worst. I think there's that risk with any dog though

edit* @Shebster if you want an RU I'll gladly make you one ^^ I was stuck between the Rough Collie and the Jindo
