Names:
Pip and Squeak
Gender:
Biologically male, mentally both.
Their Condition:
Pip and Squeak live inside one body. Pip is female, and Squeak is male. Pip is dominant, and Squeak is submissive. Pip is confident, and Squeak is insecure. I could go on like this for days. The two are opposite in almost every aspect of the mind, the only thing similar about them is that they both live inside their body. Pip is most often in control, as Squeak lets her take over the socializing and sports, as well as any creative arts since she is very creative, but Squeak is good at schoolwork, and he likes to cook, so Pip lets him take over when they need that done because Squeak is very logical. Many people ask them if this is weird, and it never has been for them, as they were born like this. They alternate turns, and often have conversations with each other, though not out loud, because that would be weird! They live inside their head, where they like to build stuff with materials they think of and create. They share a bunk bed, and Pip sleeps on the top, because she loves heights, and Squeak on the bottom, because he is afraid of heights. In fact, Squeak is afraid of everything. Of course, this means that Pip loves danger and adventure, because she's a brave little soul, the bravest one you'll ever meet. In fact, there's a very odd story about that, if I may tell.
Pip and Squeak had a day off of school. They had agreed on a schedule. Pip would take control to go hang out with their friends for most of the day, and then, when they got home, Squeak would take control to bake some cookies and cook dinner. They went to meet up with their friends at the park, Pip at the controls, and when they got there, she agreed to a game of truth or dare. It came time for their turn eventually, of course, and the whole time Squeak was telling her to pick truth, but being the daredevil she was, that wasn't an option...
"Really Pip, was that necessary? You know they aren't going to be nice and dare us to go hug a tree, right?" He moaned, rolling his eyes.
"Of course it was necessary Squeak! I don't want them to think I'm a sissy like you!" She chirped, waiting as their friend began to think. As their friend spotted an apple tree near the river, her friend grinned. Squeak whimpered.
"They thought of a bad one... Ohhhhh nooooo! This is notgoodnotgoodnotgood!" He muttered, scrunching his eyebrows together and hugging himself.
"Go climb to the top of that apple tree, and when you get there, climb out on that branch, yes, that one right there, hanging over the river, and pick me that bright red apple on the end of it," Their friend dared. Pip smiled.
"Oooh! This is an easy one!" She exclaimed excitedly, bounding over to the apple tree.
"Pip, this is not exciting or easy. This is stupid and dangerous!" Squeak exclaimed, sitting down and starting to rock back and forth, whimpering quietly. Pip scaled the small tree, and as she neared the top, the tree began to sway. Squeak squeaked. "Pip, get down right now! It's gonna break!"
"No it's not, you little coward. I'm going to finish the dare!"
"PIIIIIPPPP!" Squeak shrieked, pointing at their feet, which We're now dangling above a cracked stump of the branch they had previously been standing on. "We're going to diiiieeeeee!"
"Nope, I've got this!" Pip chirped, bracing their paws on the stump and reaching up for the apple.
"YOU IDIOT! We are going to die if you don't climb down, and you are going up! Climb. Down. Now." Squeak commanded, covering his eyes.
"Nah, we're perfectly safe. See?" Pip replied, swinging their body up onto the branch that held the apple. She plucked it off the end, and stood up to leave, when the heard a sickening crunch. The branch had snapped. They were now falling. They were falling into the roaring current, arms flailing everywhere as Squeak tried to wrestle the controls from Pip's grasp.
"Perfectly safe," Squeak muttered, his paws slapping Pip's away as he took there body and began to attempt to swim weakly back to shore. "If we're safe then my butt is covered in scales."
"Squeak! Let me take control! I can swim us back to shore!" Pip shouted, a slight bit of fear dancing in her eyes.
"The last time I let you control us, you got us here!" Squeak shouted back, paddling faster.
"Squeak, you have to trust me," Pip murmured, placing her paw on top of his. They gazed at each other for a moment before he did, and they survived to complete their dare.
