Why is the Scarf Important?:
Yitzel was raised in a town in Egypt and people often marveled over her strong side even though she was so tiny. They also got curious about why the female never grew. Rumors spread about the 'cet, too. Some thought that she was Sekhmet, the goddess of lions, due to her strength and slight familarity in pelt color, but Yitzel never seemed to remember being a popular god, so she ignored it.

Why is the Scarf Important?:
Lian was raised as a princess in and desert palace in India.
When Lian was very young her Fathers kingdom was conquered and she and her mother fled to the desert palace for safety. At that palace, Lian was raised. She was surrounded by all the things a princess would have and did not have any thought of adventure. Her mother died a few years later, and Lian was left to her palace slaves. She was raised well by them and trusted them very much.
