"Hello?" I look around, confused. Where am I? I remember
falling asleep at home in bed, and then next thing I
know, I wake up here. Inky blackness surrounds me as I
float helplessly through deep space. How am I breathing?
There's only one explanation. I'm dreaming. As soon as I
realize this, all my dreams as of late rush back to my mind.
Every dream I've had these days has been about outer space.
The more I had these dreams, the more I wanted to explore
space for myself. I guess NASA shutting down had taken
more of a toll on me then I thought it would. It was a secret
goal of mine to go to space someday, and now that wasn't
possible. Then again...it was very unlikely I ever would have
gone anyway. DO you know how hard it was to get into
the space program? With a sigh, I make an awkward
swimming motion and begin to propel myself foreword
towards a silvery round ball that looked like the moon.
Space was odd. In my dream, I could never feel any change
in temperature. It was calm, still, free of wind and heat
and cold...I loved it. It was an introvert's paradise. Yes.
No one could bother me here. Just try to put me to bed now,
Fletcher! I paused. Technically, I was in bed back at my
foster home. Well, it wasn't so much of a foster house as it
was my big brother's. Okay, so we aren't related. Whatever.
Don't correct me. I can call Fletcher whatever I like. Continuing
on to the moon, I get there in no more then five minutes,
chuckling to myself. In reality, it would take much longer to
arrive there. Luckily, I wasn't in reality. If I was, I
would've burned up by now. Sorry, I'm not making much
sense, am I? I tend to ramble. Landing softly on the moon,
I bounce-trot along until I can see it clearly. My home
planet. Earth. My breath catches in my throat as I stare at it
in all it's beauty. Living on Earth is one thing, but looking
at it from a view like this is another entirely. Wow. How I
wish I could show others what I see.

Sorry? Oh, who's Fletcher. Well...he's my legal guardian.
He adopted me. But I don't really see him as my dad, that'd
be weird. I look to him as sort of my older brother,
someone who I can rely on and is always there for me. He's
actually a really nice guy, he's just sort of shy and awkward
around other people. Other people may not know it, but he's
super friendly and funny, too. I just wish he had more
friends to hang out with. They're all missing out on a really
great guy.

My name is Sylvania, I go by Sylvia.
I have a story to tell and it is a long one, so buckle up and hang on tight.

I'll start at the beginning. I was abandoned as a kit, left to die is my assumption. I remember waking up in a bush, shivering and afraid. I remember staying there for a few days until hunger drove me to leave the safety of the bush. My first meal was a squirrel on the side of the road. I spent about two months like that.

Things started to look up. I discovered music. I discovered art. I discovered hunting! I slowly began to become my own me. I started listening to dubstep and I started to draw in the dirt on the side of the road. By my first birthday, I was well on my way to going to my first home.

Jaden and Kato found me one day. They took me home with them and took care of me. They cleaned me up and they fed me. They loved me, something I had never experienced before. By my second birthday, I was settled in and ready to do something. Jaden and Kato built me a recording studio where I began to sing. At first I just posted me songs on YouTube so I could keep them organized, but people actually started listening to them. By the time I turned 5, my songs were everywhere. You could pick up anyone's iPod and find my hit single, Soulless. As my music got more popular, I started to migrate towards dubstep. I still sang my pop music, but I also did some dubstep. It never got as popular, but it was my personal favorite.

Now, at 14, I still sing and do my dubstep. I still draw and I'm very happy now with Jaden and Kato taking care of me.
