Hmm, certainly the laundry, right after it comes out of the dryer! Starling knows full well that he's much too large for sleeping in such a place, but it's just so warm! Usually he ends up accidentally breaking the basket, although if the laundry is still warm he doesn't bother moving.

Favorite place to sleep and why: Barley enjoys sleeping under small car bridges, that pass over small rivers or water features. Not only does he have the occasional rumble of tires over him, but even in the silence, there's the water to keep him relaxed and sleeping soundly. Often in the afternoons, the concrete just out under the bridge is warm, which is a good place to nap, and then the cool shadows underneath keep him from enduring any super warmth or any weather that may pass, excluding the wind. It is the safest place in his opinion, and the one place that he will continue to use for sleep any day.

Favorite place to sleep and why:

You see, Snickers has a love for... treasure, I guess you could say. He has a little hideout, an old, abandoned home, that's decades of years old. Said building is dilapidated, partially reclaimed by nature, and is overall very eerie looking. It is here that Snickers stores all of his trinkets and possessions, which he then guards throughout the night, protecting them from any would-be thieves. However, not being a fantastic night guard, the little Viscet often ends up falling asleep while on duty, snoozing the night away atop his treasure pile. Despite the slight backache he wakes up with from sleeping on a lumpy pile of trinkets, he always wakes up feeling refreshed and relaxed. [116/200]

Name: Beaumont, "Beau"
Gender: male
Favorite place to sleep and why: Beaumont's favorite place to sleep is in a train car, especially one from his historic collection. Ever since he was young, he had an interest in history. As he got older, he found the the union pacific railroad to be of particular interest and quickly became fascinated with the idea of owning one of his own early locomotives. Once he acquired his first train car, dating back about 1870, he spent nearly every waking moment in the train car. After he got the actual engine to match the train car, Beau was completely and utterly obsessed. He would wake up every morning, go out to his train, spend all day there and then finally go inside to sleep. Very soon, Beaumont transformed one of his train cars into a bedroom and began sleeping there. Now, he has several old (but working) trains with several types of different train cars, and nothing feels better than going to sleep in one of them after a long day. He does settle for sleeping on modern trains while traveling and on his way home, though, finding the sound of the the train on the tracks to be very relaxing.

Favorite place to sleep and why: Saharah loves sleeping on window sills. The warmth of the sun makes her sleepy so it's easiest for her to fall asleep under the sun. The warmth and light is also comforting and of course the sun provides her with plenty of vitamin D! It's also nice when the window is open and a nice cool breath flows through, ruffling up her fur with a lovely sensation of warmth and fresh air.

Favorite place to sleep and why: While Drake isn't too terribly picky in sleeping locations, his all time favorite place to sleep is on a stair step. It's highly inconveniencing to others, but he hasn't a care in the world. Whenever you can't find him, all you have to do is open the door to a stairwell or take a quick glance at any set of stairs and there will be Drake, all curled up and barely fitting on one step.

Favorite place to sleep and why:
His favorite place to rest is in a small tree house built in the back of the abandoned mansion he stows away in when he's "at home". It can be a bit chilly, especially in winter, but often it is less lonely than the old house the land belongs to. It's nestled up in an old maple with stairs that wind up the trunk, and he loves to listen to the crickets chirp and watch the fireflies pass by the windows as he snuggles up with his ragged but warm blanket. In the treehouse, he keeps all his favorite treasures, and so it's a bit crowded, but he finds it cozy, and likes to think the little memories attached to each of his possessions keeps him company while he sleeps.

Mille is often found dosing away in the bright, expansive field of grain near her home. The sun shines in just the right places, warming her entire body and soul with its rays. The grain allows a gentle breeze to drift through, filling her with nostalgic memories and happiness. Mille can smell all the wildflowers around her, filling the air with a pungent aroma. With a warm and happy heart, she lets her troubles drift away as she lay in the grain, her brain only thinking of the bedding beneath her feet, as she drifts into her slumber.
