Ok, I know I said no more DA adopts right now, but this is something Mint Chip wanted to try out, and needed my help to work out the kinks.
This is not your average DA auction. There are no bids.
You are to create a palette, and "promise" 200 points OR 70 C$ for those of you from CS if you prefer. This mean, only if you win do you have to pay those points/C$.
I will pick the palette I think suits the design/is the most harmonious and whoever wins will send me payment within 48 hours and the viscet will be theirs. We thought this would be a fun way to involve both communities, and give people a unique adopt experience (as well as a DA adopt that's on the cheaper side. Remember you can have two DA adopts a month and they do not count against your CS limit.)

I'd love some feedback here or on DA of whether or not you guys like the idea of something like this, and if you think we should do more things like this on DA for both communities. We really need and appreciate community feedback <3

I think this is a decent idea for the people who can't afford a great deal when it comes to DA adopts. But not only does this allow them the ability to 'purchase' an adopt, but it also gives them a slight ability of customization. Which is a win win situation, imo.

This sounds like a really cool idea! I agree that the little sprinkling of customizability makes this a really unique opportunity. I can actually see these CYOP viscets becoming pretty popular! I would certainly try out for them every once in awhile.

I was wondering, though. How would one submit their color pallet if they wanted to enter? Would they just post hex codes in their form on DA, or maybe include a link to their chosen/created pallet somewhere? I'm not sure. ^^;

I think either way would work?
posting either a color palette or posting hex codes are both fine ways of entering.

Great idea! I was super happy about the idea of being able to bid C$.... until i saw you needed to post on DA. *cries because I don't have a DA account*

Anywho, yeah, I love the idea and I'm excited to see more of these (hopefully) In the future!
