What does love mean to them -- (no more than 500 words)
Love? Excuse me, I don't follow. Is this a trick question? Love is...love is an emotion, I can tell you that much. It's much too complicated to define in a few simple words. To put it as dumbed down as possible, so even the most average of average joes can understand, love is when two people develop feelings of intimacy for one another. Then they kiss and do mushy stuff. As for me, I think love is quite the waste of time. Why sit around and goggle at each other when there are things to be learned, concepts to be explored? Having a love life would just slow me down. It slowed my dad down, that's why he left mom, and she got her heart broken. Love can hurt. Why would you do something that just ends up biting you in the back later on, causing you pain? It's a silly thing, really. And don't even get me started on all the romance movies and books out there. Absolutely ridiculous.
Now, if I ever did fall in love, which of course, I never would, I would need someone who could keep up with me and follow along with my conversations. I don't want someone stupid hanging around me all the time. It's a drag. I apologize if I sound stuck up or anything, but I don't want to mislead you of my feelings on the subject. Now, back to what love means to me (I got a little distracted, there). Love is just another thing that the people of this world use to make them feel better about themselves. It is pointless. I do not need it to feel accomplished. I value knowledge above this silly "love" concept. Now, knowledge is important. Knowledge matters. There is no need for love in this world. We could all get on just fine without it.
