Tomorrow is Kalontine's Day! Amorette is putting the last few things together for the special day. Write about what your kalon does with Amorette to prepare, or write about what Amorette is busy up to!

let out a sigh as she finally finished up the last of the gifts she was wrapping. The hard work she was doing would pay off, and she could tell as she grinned, holding up the letters. Aster rushed in, taking the letters from her. "I dropped off the last cake, are these the last ones as well?" Amorette nodded, "Yeah, so you can sleep or whatever after this!." Aster jumped with glee and rushed off. Amorette leaned back in her chair, feeling the sweat pool up on her face. "I think I deserve a nap after all this."

Young Camille and her sister Ella have been crafting paper heart cards with Amorette for their parents. However, things have gotten a bit out of hand with the glitter... question of the day: is amorette's face "kill me now" or "I am having the time of my life"

"oh the pain of such a special day! this year I am busy helping the helpless with love. my toughest one is a once young kal named mercel....now while she may be lost for love and a wreck due to her past everyone deservers someone on this special day! now when mercel was young she loved playing in the creak near her home and that's where she met the devil.....he tricked her into thinking if she followed him to his island that she would live in paradise and own her own resort on a beautiful island with him forever and ever. she fell into the hands of the devil so easily as she left her mama and papa...she left the clothing on the line the soap in the bucket with only a note telling them she loved them and that she was leaving to explore the world with her lover....she didn't even say goodbye....her family was so broken hearted they passed and she never even knew....anyways the devil took her to this island it was so beautiful with a volcano and a hotel made out of stunning tree houses. he promised her he would be back he was just going to the main land for a moment. he took the only boat and left casting a curse over the island. soon visitors turned into monsters and mercel was forced to shut down the island but also stuck on it herself. she has had some luck over the years on her prison island tho! she managed to save two kals from turning into monsters and she has raised them like they where her own kids. anyways this year I plan on helping mercel turn back time....well sortof....I plan on brining her family back for the day....I cant do much sadly...but....I can only hope it will bring back that child like side she once had and then she might be able to break the curse on the island?....well....heres a arrow of love on wishful thinking!"

"Amorette," says Aisake. "Amorette, my amour, love of my life, light of my world, angel of grace, vision of beauty-"

Amorette raises on eyebrow. "How many of those do you have?" she asks. She sounds amused rather than annoyed, so Aisake is willing to chalk that up as a win.

"Oh, a few more," he grins. "Goddess of beauty, queen of my heart, bringer of all that is joyful in my world... I could go on."

Amorette laughs and shakes her head endearingly. She really is cute, he thinks. If she wasn't the goddess of love he might actually try to land a date with her. As it is, he's willing to settle for this, a moment between friends in the brief time of relaxation she has before the holiday (Yeah, right, whispers a small part of his brain that he stubbornly ignores).

Right now, he's draped over the back of her chair as she clicks through cookie recipes on his computer. He was understandably leery of letting an incredibly powerful (demi?)god use his laptop- the last time he let Hesperos use it, the piece of junk somehow caught fire and blew up half his apartment- but thankfully Amorette seems more responsible than the winter spirit. Or at least more willing to pay the damages.

"How 'bout this one?" Amorette asks now, pulling up an oatmeal raisin recipe.

Aisake dismisses it with a wave of his hand. "Oatmeal raisin is an affront to kalonkind as a whole, and I'd thank you not to mention the word in my house again."

Amorette grins up at him and (just to be cheeky, Aisake thinks) says, "It's two words, technically."

Aisake sighs. "Either way. Ooh, what about this one?"

The love goddess clicks on the recipe. "Eww, no. I don't know what this person was thinking when they wrote this, there's about two times as much flour as there needs to be!" She quickly types out a comment that lets the poster know what's wrong with the recipe and how to fix it, and moves on. The pair go through several more recipes before Amorette suddenly spins around in the chair with a determined look on her face. "Alright, 'Sake," she says. "Enough chitchat, let's get down to business. Who are you crushing on?"

Aisake leans back; the suddenness of the question leaves him wrong-footed and blushing. "I don't- um- what?"

Amorette sighs, like this is a simple question he's supposed to know the answer to. "You got a crush?" she asks slowly. "Tell me. Goddess of Love," she adds, pointing to herself. "I'll make your wildest fantasies all come true. Or at least I'll get you confessing; the rest is up to you."

Aisake glances away. "I don't know, Amor, I was kind of planning on spending Valentine's doing other things," he says uncertainly (Tell her, the voice whispers. No, he says back).

"You mean hiding under a blanket and playing tanki?" Amorette rolls her eyes. "'Sake, you're a great friend and I love you, but you've gotta get out once in a while. At least let me hook you up with some friends?"

Aisake shrugs unhelpfully.

Amorette leans back in the chair and checks her watch. "Alright, I've gotta run, but promise me you won't spend Valentine's alone. Please?" She looks at him hopefully, with round, adorable eyes (and he's pretty sure she does something to make them look bigger, no way eyes like that are natural) and he just can't say no.

Well, if it'll make her happy... "Promise," Aisake says.

Amorette smiles, eyes lighting up in the way that makes everyone feel special (and he knows she doesn't return his feelings, but it's so hard sometimes-), and hugs him. Aisake's brain goes completely blank in those two seconds, and by the time it's rebooted, she's already pulling away. He offers her a shaky smile, silently mourning opportunities wasted, and asks, "So, will you swing by later, or do I have to wait until next year to see your darling visage again?" Aisake's wearing his brightest, bravest smile, but he's pretty sure she sees right through him.

She beams at him (he thinks he sees a hint of pity in her eyes) and chirps, "Of course I will! See you later, don't spend tomorrow hiding under a blanket!"

"I won't," he promises as he watches her leave. He waves until she's out of sight and goes back into the house. He is so spending tomorrow hiding under a blanket.
