Greatest Strength (600) -
Fara's greatest strength has been, and always will be, her great patience and ability to listen. She makes sure each side of any story is heard, no matter the situation! Because of this, many of her friends and family come to her to help settle disputes and arguments.
Greatest Weakness (600) -
The greatest weakness Fara has is her compassion. It sounds like a positive trait, and usually is, but her compassion and empathy usually find a way to cloud her judgement. She may listen to both sides, but for the most part each side has something right, and she feels a need to emphasize this. While she has stopped many arguments, this empathy has also started a few grudges between parties. Because of this, she usually has someone help keep her in check, although she still gives positive remarks and advice to both sides of any arrangement.

Here it was again. Screaming, and yelling, and Fara could have sworn she heard a plate smashing. Due to her blindness, she couldn't really SEE what was going on, but she could certainly tell it was something quite intense.
Did all family meals have to be this way?
The holidays had always been hard on Fara regardless - especially Christmas, as her current job certainly didn't pay very well - and she certainly wasn't feeling any better with the sounds of yelling and cursing fluttering around her. Sighing, she pushed her plate away and cleared her throat. Nothing. She was louder this time. Still, nothing. Finally, she stood up, tail flicking back and forth irritably. She was patient, yes, but she was certainly prone to annoyance. Giving the tiniest of growls, the hint of anger was enough to cause everyone at the table to hush. They had never heard a growl from Fara before..! As the viscet sat back down, adjusting the ribbon she kept around her eyes, the family settled as well.
"What is happening?" Fara finally spoke, her voice stern yet gentle, "I can't see, and you're all too loud for me to pinpoint the issue, so you'll need to tell me," Silence. Slowly, one family member spoke up, a slight snarl to their tone,
"It was Elanor! She made a nasty comment again, and wouldn't apologize," this accusation caused a hiss from the viscet in question, and Fara whipped her head around to face them,
"Is this true?" she asked calmly, paws crossed neatly on top of the table. A slight grumbling, and Fara asked again, "I want to know what you said,"
One mumbled explanation later, and Fara had to admit that Elanor had a point. The viscet that had started the battle certainly had offended Bee, and it made the utmost sense that Elanor would snap back at someone insulting her mate. Yet... couldn't it have been done gentler? Wasn't there a better way to say these things? Sighing, she sat back and thought about it, before speaking,
"Alright. So he insulted Bee, which is true. It would make sense that you got upset. But how did that escalate into..this?" an ashamed silence fell over the table, and Fara found she could cut the tension with a knife. The first viscet, again, spoke up,
"I may have thrown a roll at her.." he muttered. Elanor answered with just as much embarassment,
"I flicked butter at him in return..." she murmered. Silence, yet again, before Fara burst out laughing,
"That's how you two settle things?" she snickered, amused. She was happy to hear that the two in question seemed to start laughing as well. Soon, apologies were being said, and peace had been restored to the family gathering.Maybe,Fara thought, family gatherings aren't too bad after all...[/i]
